This place is always busy. Great food. Great ambiance. Always eat the same thing. Butter chicken never disappoint. And will try new things but do not like it too spicy. Will come back for sure . But will make to come when it's busy .Before 6PM

Korma lamb and Curry chocken are very good and tasty at this restaurant. The place get crowded very fast for dinner, considering it is in a small location with only about 10 tables.

Good family restaurant with reasonable prices.. The only flaw is that the waitress does not listen to our needs..we asked fow very little amount of spice and we got the contrary, but was still delicious.. The entrées were not what we wanted....

I love Indian food and since none of my friends do, every so often I'll jump in the car and make the 25 minute drive from the north shore to La Maison India for killer Indian food at very reasonable prices. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu but I am pretty much addicted to the Chana samosa. The... More

This a casual dinning place. After a visit to Canada Day celebrations and Jazz festival, we felt the need for some spicy Indian food. We drove to park-x and decided to try Maison Indian curry. A very pleasant young lady received us with big smile. We were given option to chose our seat. She recommend a seat next to window.... More

By far the second best Indian restaurant in the city (number one is twice as expensive) and the first in the area. the food is excellent and the service is good and helpful. their dishes are authentic and not altered to north American taste, which is as Martha before going to the big house used to say "is a good... For $6 you got a very large, very tasty lunch time meal. I was very impressed with the size of the portion and the taste.

I was wandering and spotted that restaurant, I quickly checked reviews and decided to try it myself. When I arrived I was seated promptly it wasn't very crowdy for a Saturday afternoon. The service was very quick, I ordered a mango lassi (I just love that drink) which happened to be one of the best I've recently tasted as well... More

Staying in Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension

Neighborhood Profile
The most ethnically diverse of all of Montreal's neighborhoods, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension (or, Parc-Ex) stands at the city's center, a hub for rail and metro traffic. Starting at the old station where the Canadian Pacific used to disembark, the brick-and-mortar surroundings of Parc-Ex have a homey feel, with leafy lawns and bicycle lanes seamlessly incorporated into the landscape. With prominent Greek and Spanish communities, Greektown includes the tastiest stops for brochettes and shawarma, and local bars entertain an excitable soccer fanbase. Jerry Park and Stade Uniprix stand ready for sports diehards to enjoy a game, while the the Complexe Environnemental Saint-Michel and Le Taz skate parks invite athletes to train and compete. Though built for the active and best by day, Cirque du Soleil, the TOHU center for arts, and the Le Boulevard shopping center offer diversions for those who wish to stay late.
