This was our best meal in Montreal for the amount of food you get at a great price point. Very extensive menu and they will make meals that’s not on the menu.

This place had excellent food, and portions were large, for not a lot of money. Three of us filled up and took enough with us for another meal.

Great authentic looking Chinese restaurant, very friendly service. While looking for the best General Tso chicken in Montreal I came across some great reviews for this place. So glad I tried this place. Started with hot - sour soup. Very tasty and light spice. The general Tso was a generous portion served with white rice and vegetables. The veggies appeared... More

Went into this restaurant while walking along Ste Catherine St W and looking for a place to eat. I must say that I was not disappointed. The service was quite good. There was not a long wait time for the food and the portions were huge. As a group of four there were different orders and I did have a... More

Huge portions of deliciously spiced food, made quickly and for a very reasonable price. I thought I would be taking some home, but it was so good, I cleared my plate with ease and pleasure. The servers were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return!

If you’re looking for fancy you won’t get it here but wow what flavour. Going to keep it simple. The restaurant is simple typical Chinese resto with Buddha and Chinese writing on the walls. Service was normal not to much smiles but they were on point and quick. A smile or two would be nice. If they could make some... More

I have been coming here for ages. I enjoy their lunch specials with some with their delicious hot and sour soup. The entree is served on a large plate with a large serving of Chinese vegetables in one corner and rice in the other corner. I have never left hungry. I have read that some feel this is "dumbed down"... More

I love Chinese food. I'm not a connoisseur or anything special but I've had enough Chinese food to be able to tell then things can be significantly better -- especially when considering the same restaurant. I've been here a couple times and the first time it was fantastic! The portions were gigantic and the quality was excellent, especially the crispy... More

Went here around Christmas and the food was wonderful. The egg rolls are stuffed with filling and not flimsy like some other places. The dumplings are fresh and good and the General Tsao Chicken is truly outstanding. What this place lacks in decor, it makes up for in quality and price. Service is good although it can be a bit... Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
