It wasn't as crowded as everyone was saying it would be. We were able to walk up and get a seat at the stools in the back. Skip the turkey sandwich. It's basic. The meat sandwich is the real deal but smaller than I thought...More

Stopped by mid-week for a quick bite. Got a seat right away. Very friendly and fast service. Love the old fashioned-style smoked meat platter. Was stuffed and they even wrapped an extra sandwich from leftovers to bring home. Another memorable experience.

This place is a Montreal tradition and the smoked meat sandwich is as authentic and unique in taste, preparation and the old fashioned ambiance in the restaurant.

Schwartz's SMOKED MEAT-- None better! My daughter lived about two blocks away from Schwartz's, the portions are huge, the meat is the best I have ever had. On every visit I went to Schwartz's and you should as well!
