To my taste Pushap serves the best vegetarian thalis in Montreal, at an unbeatable price. It is family operated and open seven days a week.

Great vegetarian Indian food. Eat in or take out. Hot spicy and healthy. Every was great. If your not sure... try a Thali plate that comes as a whole meal. They also have great Indian deserts if your looking for that. Can't go wrong.

Very simple venue but extremely delicious food. A friend brought me here after spending 3 months in India. I was blown away. Absolutely wonderful. It brought me back. We ordered the Samosas and Thalie. Very fresh and authentic. Highly recommended.

My sweetheart and I love to go to Pushap Sweets, a local Vegetarian Indian Restaurant. Our favourite is the Thali plate with lentils, eggplant, spinach paneer, rice, cabbage and a chapati (a flat whole wheat bread served warm.) It's truly mouth watering, delicious and very reasonably priced! You can also have a choice of one sweet for dessert with the... More

This place is arguably the best vegetarian indian place in town (there is NO meat/chicken on the menu). Most order the daily special called Thali, which is two daily dishes plus a choice of lentils or chickpeas, bread, rice and cabbage salad. The cost is under 10$ (cant remember exactly but its about $6-$7). If you go on flavor and... More

You get what you pay for with this place... I stopped coming here for years after too many things where bothering me whenever I would go, like how dirty this place is, the big wash room has some really disgusting ceiling tiles, almost always out of toilet paper, doors & walls would need an intense wash up. The young thugs... More

You can easily eat for less than 10$ (tea and dessert included) at Pushap, and the food is quite tasty! The curries aren't very spicy compared to other places, I'd say mild to medium heat depending on what you order. Best dhal I get in Montreal and I'd recommend the cauliflower curry, spinach paneer and the eggplant. Instead of naan... More

It is possible if you come to Pushap. The place is small, but they serve good meals. Especially for vegetarian. My friend always has a hard time to order, she can't decide quickly. She likes all the meals. I can't come often to dine in lately, but always try to drop by for their Samosa with spicy sauce.

Can't find a more untouristy restaurant than this one, but the vegetarian food is tasty and delicious, especially the samosa and the pakoras. Service is friendly, though a bit slow because lot's of customers are coming in for take-out. Did I mention that this restaurant is cheap?
