One of the best dinner I've ever had: well prepared and nice waiters, good selection of wines and the most amazing food! Who knew that the vietnamese cuisine was so delicious? I still dream about my grilled salmon in teriyaki sauce

We've been here a couple times now before seeing shows in the area and it never disappoints. Delicious and fresh. I had a plate of grilled beef, tender chicken and shrimp brochette served with sticky rice and a tasty side salad. The table d'hôtel menu is worth it. I had the asparagus & crab soup which was delicious. The included... More

Decent food and postions, reasonable prices (about $50 for two appetizers, two mains and a dessert) and attentive staff. Fried banana was delicious although I'd doubt it's very authentic. The menu was a bit small.

I love Vietnamese food but so really have it - so was delighted to find Ong Ca Can on our trip to Montreal. We ate there on a Saturday night, so the restaurant was fairly busy, but we had no problem getting a table. The service was great and the food just what I had been after - nice and... More

Nice atmosphere to be with your work collegues at lunch time. The food is both tasty and healthy, service is fast. Beer is slightly expensive.

We love Vietnamese food and like to go with our Vietnamese friend. She orders a lot of little dishes and we all share them.

Our family of four adults enjoyed a great meal, the food was very good, the service just a bit lacking but nothing that would stop us from visiting again. Good drink menu and nice ambience.

We started with a spring roll which was pretty good (better than the ones I've made at home). For dinner we had the 7 beef course for two. There was a sauce that came with it that was pungent to the nose. The smell, however, was better than the taste. I asked the waiter what it was (being careful not... More

Tasty food and no complaints from anyone in our group of five. We were having a very late dinner while in town for a jazz Fest. Everything was fresh and nice portions, lovely place and we were able to sit by the open window facing the street. However, we were surprised at the lack of vegetarian items given the nature... Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theaters, and exhibition centers are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
