Make sure you get a spot on the terrace in the back. Well worth doing the line for it. Jazz live bands, food is always good and most importantly the atmosphere is second to none. Only drawback is that the line for the terrace gets...More

The food is excellent and the surroundings filled with plants, flowers and local birds. Thanks to the tarps that make up the roof, you can even dine when it is raining. They often have a live band. Best not to sit too close to the...More

Jardin Nelson has been an Old Montreal spot for decades. The open air seating amidst 300 year-old stone walls is what Jardin Nelson is all about. We enjoy a light lunch with a glass of wine, or dessert & coffee in the candle lit evenings....More

This wonderful restaurant offers an open-air garden (heated with cover over the tables incase of rain/snow) with good food and live music. It looked like it might be a tourist "trap" but we were very pleased with the prices and quality.

The entire atmosphere of this place is really pleasant, so that you begin your experience in the right mindset. I enjoyed the soupe à l'oignon a lot, as well as some of the crepes. Certainly a very good place!

2 metro station to old Montreal. Place D'Armes & Champ de Mars which is closer to Place Jacques Cartier where the restaurant is. When you get off the metro walk towards the Hotel de Ville and in front us Place Jacques Cartier
