Always crowded, this is a popular place to go on Bernard street, specially during the gorgeous summer evenings. There are a lot of flavours to choose on and their sorbets are really good. However, for my taste, I prefer the ice-creams at the Havre Aux Glaces at both the Atwater Market and Jean Talon Market, or the Pile Ou Glace... More

Bilboquet, mmmm! Even if you're not too hungry, you can get a "mini" portion. There are plenty of flavours to choose from. The sorbets are refreshing and flavourful.

Delicious ice creams and sorbets! I am a sorbet type of girl, and I would definitely recommend the litchi or blueberry sorbet. I usually ask for a small scoop of both :) They have a couple of tables and benches outside. It's a perfect place to go for a quick fresh dessert in the summer evenings.

The ice cream is excellent. There is sometimes a bit of a line but the staff is super friendly and the ice cream is certainly worth the wait

Great ice cream parlor with fresh flavors to satisfy anyone. Usually draws a crowd especially when it's hot out, but it's worth the wait!

If you want to taste the best croissant in town, then this is the place. Try the almond paste filled ones they are marvellous.. If you will be lucky enough and early enough to get hold of those as they come in limited batches per day.

A great ice cream spot with lots of flavours and some of the best sorbet in Montreal. My personal favourites are the coconut and lychee sorbet, but all the flavours I've tried have been great. The macarons and other pastries look delicious as well.

A wide palette of flavors, all of them extremely good. Don't hesitate to visit Outremont district for its the gastronomic generosity and end up at Bilboquet for an excellent dessert!

Staying in Outremont

Neighborhood Profile
Outremont
Outremont, a quaint residential district just north of Downtown, is a peaceful, low-key setting known for its mod cafes and bistros, and some of the best walking territory Montreal has to offer. Visitors can explore the flowering parks and manor estates of Maplewood Street, then window-shop the popular bakeries and coffeehouses on main arteries of Chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine and Rue Van Horne. The modern granola feel is complemented by contemporary art exhibitions, rotating theater productions, and a welcoming public library. Also a nexus for the city's Hasidic Jewish culture, Outremont's diversity resounds in its cuisine and in its architecture. Visit the colorful neighborhood to take advantage of boutique shopping on Avenue Laurier, or to test the artisanal flavors of Avenue Bernard, braving a salmon burger on a squid-ink bun or accommodating your sweet tooth with a provincial chômeur pudding. A visit to Outremont is a relaxing day.
