While the upstairs is "under renovation," the buffet has been moved into a much smaller lower floor location, and suffered for it. Necessarily, the amount of food offered has been drastically reduced. But, worse, the food quality was low, hot foods were tepid and limp; in general, the buffet food looked neglected as if it had been sitting too long.... More

It's a small, empty (at least the Saturday lunch hour I was there) place... Hardly any options so I was able to try pretty much everything and it was simply not tasty. I did not enjoy a single one of the items in the buffet! Dessert is also pathetic in options. They weren't able to give me and the kids... More

We told that that Thursday is woman special & will get 50 % off. But when we went there the manager refused to give us discount. That is cheating, not keeping his word. I will not recommend this place to any of my friend

This was by far the absolute worse dining experience I've ever had. This place used to be really nice the decor the food and the options were great. They've since been bought by a hotel, the restaurant was moved downstairs, and the size and quality of the buffet have plummeted. The food was cold- all of it. The chicken the... More

Food, decour, service everything was horrible. When asking for toilet paper for the bathroom, the manager said that he didn't have time to do that. The food was uninspired and very basic. I'm sorry I did not walk out. It seems that no one has a stake in the restaurant - very sloppy.

I am sorry to say, that I must revise my original review. The buffet has declined in quality: the food, decor and service are not as they used to be. We will not visit here again.

To start with, the food is sub standard.. in the name of indian cuisine, they serve COW DUNG. They are neither fresh nor tasty .. And there is a bald headed owner who stands infront of the restaurant. When you have some concern, he responds with attitude and rude behaviour. AVOID

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
