We came to Montreal just to eat here - the food and the presentation and the service on the tasting menu is world class and we travelled across North America to eat here again - our fourth to fifth time eating here in the last 8 years and it has always been consistently good - worth spending the time and... My partner and I went here on the night we were engaged. Europa did a magnificent job of making our evening as memorable as our engagement. We both did the tasting menu with wine pairings. The service was impeccable from the beginning. You can tell the service staff have as much fun with the dishes as the chef does making... More

The service was perfect, and the food was really fun to experience. The presentation of everything was so playful. We were served a whole range of little appetizers to begin, including pesto and parmesan loppipops, truffle popcorn, homemade bed jerky on a mini clothesline, cheese "cigars", fresh bread with a variety of butters, fresh gravlax served in fake book and... It has been years since I've eaten at this place. When it popped up during a Yelp search, it reminded me to try it again and I was not disappointed We ordered the luncheon prix fixe. Every dish was done to perfection. The risotto was especially good. The little gimmicky touches were cute - e.g. dried beef attached to a... More

Great ambiance, good service and most importantly amazing food. I was there for a birthday dinner with my family and we took the Menu Dégustation. Honestly a great price for what you get. I also like how they are creative with their presentation of the food. I also suggest the wine pairing if your budget allows for it to enhance... More

On a family vacation to Montreal my husband chose Europea for dinner. I was incredibly skeptical. We have two children, 8 and 13 with vey limited palettes :) I was delightfully surprised. The food was wonderful and diverse, however presentation is everything. The staff are amazing. So friendly and engaging. They were very patient with our questions. My daughter was... More

The food and the staff excellent. The restaurant could be nicer but I would go again and again. You pay only for the main courses and they serve you many starters to try. They bring you also dessert for free. The food presentation was amazing.

My wife and I were quietly impressed by the quality of food and its presentation. Really unusual creations in all respects - taste, optics! Suggest the wine pairings option -Sommelier was on the mark in terms of recommendations. Menu seems to have remained relatively stable for some years now. For a memorable evening with a very special person or small... More

Excellent service and top notch food. This restaurant is equivalent to the Beaver Hall restaurant but with a higher star value.

What an evening it was, interesting tasting menu! It was a wonderful meal with 16 friends and family. We had several choices for Appetizers and Entrees, as well as desserts. We would definitely go back again. They also had a good selection of wine to choose from.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
