This is a well presented sophisticated restaurant. I strongly recommend tasting menu. I will not go into detail for the meal because it will spoil the fun. Let say it is a well executed amalgamation of food presentation both visual, olfactory and taste. Price of wine is on the high limit.

I would recommend this restaurant for the experience- it is totally over the top in every way- is this class or is it pretentious- not sure which? The service is impeccable ( it better be for the price you pay) the food is unique ( i.e. pieces of pemican hung on a clothes lines with mini clothes pin , cotton... More

High end classy restaurant. You get what you'd expect. Service spot on, food to match. This french restaurant is situated downtown Montreal. They have a great lunch special as well if you'd like to taste their food while spending much less. I would say this is one of Montreal's top 10 best.

We visited Europea for an anniversary and were delighted with the service and the food. .We were greeted by the Maitre D' with a little note from the chef himself, and a glass of bubbly. We did the gastronomical menu. Every plate was absolutely delicious and so well presented. My personal favorites were the fish and the chicken, but everything... More

Went to Europea to celebrate my birthday with friends and we had a very special evening. The service is very attentive but not over the top! We were showered with little attentions throughout our dinner like little "amuse-gueules" with very original presentations. the food was very good. The cotton candy tree is absolutely gorgeous and all the sweets accompanying it... More

One can't say the food is gastronomical. The food is ok to good. The show around it is entertaining. Service is good but not what you would expect for the calibur advertised. Examples: some inexperienced waiters, no one folds yout napkin while you're in the washroom, asked for a napkin after my friend dropped hers and it never came, never... More

Never a disappointment. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Excellent service and impeccable food quality. If possible a great place to try during MTL a la table

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
