After seeing A movie at the near by Beaubien theatre ( no,not Le Diner de Cons),it was time to try this little hamburger resto on Beaubien street. We arrived before 7:00 so there were still a couple tables left for two.The place fills up fast so be prepared to wait. After being shown to a great street side table the waiter arrived... Excellent food and service. You can not reserve, and as we entered it was full apart from the table nearest the door. This was great, but we did get a draft every time the door opened. Yet after us there were always people waiting, a sign that it is worth waiting for. We had a different array of the burgers,... More

Nice menu - nice plate - very tasty. The service is good. The place has good vibes. And the price are honest.

I went there with friends, for a relaxed meal on the terrasse. The waiter came to take our order... and said "Hi" as a response to my salutation... didn't think about it on his own! As for the meal, the food is good, but keep in mind that in the end, you pay 30$ for a burger, fries, iced tea... More

The burgers here are excellent... It would be my go-to place for burgers if it wasn't for the frustration of trying to get in. The place is tiny and reservations are not taken. So if you are more than 2 people, forget it and just go somewhere else, otherwise you'll be waiting forever. We've tried to go with friends (total... More

Great variety of burgers and not so expensive. Good neighborhood restaurant, but not Worth the detour. The poutine is small and a bit overprice. On the same street a little further there is a restaurant specialized in Poutine. The last time we went there the meat was dead burned . The fried onions soaked the buns. When you don't take... For starters, there is no children's menu. Secondly, I asked the waitress how big is the poutine? She said that the poutine is a meal. She made it sound big. Obviously, she hasn't eaten at La Belle Province before. The poutine cost $10!!! It also wasn't as big as I expected. The gravy tasted different; definitely not what I expected.... More

To begin, this little space does not seat many, but the staff was very accommodating and helped our party of 7 to settle in. The atmosphere was nice, a mix of locals. The decor is cool and natural. I opted for the pulled pork, which was very good. The slaw on the sandwich was nice and creamy and complemented the... More

Had dinner here with some friends on a Friday night. We all tried a different burger and they were all amazing. The goat cheese and lamb burger was so tasty and juicy. My friend had the blue cheese and beef burger and it was also delicious. They also have sweet potato fries that are very good. The only downside is,... More

We went for a lunch, but the place was full, and the evenings are really busy! We had Beaubien burger and it was juicy and delicious! Cute, clean and yummie hidden gem in Montreal.

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighborhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
