stay away if you are the type of person who needs to ever visit washroom facilities.... this establishment locks their washroom in the evening, so even as a customer if you need to use the washroom they will not unlock the door for you. This is the personal experience encountered by four professional women in their 50's with functioning bladders.... More

Walking distance from McGill or any other company located right in the centre of downtown. Lots of table and quite spacious in and out of store allow you to enjoy the moment.

Open 24 hourts and very friendly staffs. We had coffees, ate some cheesecake, had a slice of coconut banana bread, and sat in a comfortable St Chatherine street location and checked up on our iPhones.

While looking for a Tim Horton's on St. Catherine, I found this establishment. The coffee was quite a bit expensive and the pastries at 10a in the morning were not fresh. When dining in a refill of coffee will cost you. It is not complementary. The establishment was not well kept and was in disrepair (rips and tears on chairs,... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
