About
An icon of Montréal's brewery scene, Le Cheval Blanc has about 10 drafts on hand, all brewed in house, as well as some Belgian options by the bottle. It's a lively, easygoing place with a friendly all-ages crowd, smiling bartenders and an outdoor patio in the summer.

As I continue to explore microbreweries in Montreal, this one is highly recommended. A quiet bar with nice atmosphere and tasty beer. I have tried their Blanche & Ambré, both tasted great. Ambré remains my favourite though. Nachos as a side order was fine. Don’t...More

Somewhat dated now, this place was one of the first on Montréal’s thriving craft beer scene. There is a good range of beers available. I had my best beer in Montreal here - the super IPA is worth the visit here alone.

Wonderful brewery in Montreal. All the beers we had were excellent, and the outside patio was perfect. Service was very helpful for a bunch of Americans who did not speak French and had issues paying with credit cards. Great place to stop for a refreshing...More

Went there in the late afternoon. Indifferent if not hostile service. The places looks like a techno bar. Horrible atmosphere and dreadfull decoration. The 2 kinds of beer we had were absolutely tasteless. We left after a sip. Far from what the old Ontario location...More

I have visited a lot of brew pubs and this one has really good beer and it's cheap too! My favorites were the Split and the Barley Wine.

Le Cheval Blanco brews its own beer(!!) and it tastes delicious. We had also a panini for dinner and it took a bit time until it was served. The service is very nice and attentive. So if you're not too hungry and want some good...More

Cheval Blanc is a perfect place to have a nice locally brewed beer with friends: the bar is vast and not overcrowded, which makes it all the more enjoyable; and it has a pleasant terrace too. Totally recommended.

I had high hopes for this place, I found the table service to be a little slow, and not a very friendly atmosphere. Maybe it was just a bad night, but the beer was great
