Great food, very tasty and superb service. This is a must try when in Montreal, get there early and have a fantastic brunch. Highly recommended.

This neighbourhood favourite brunch spot is a real gem. The retro tea room decor with its Rococo styled arm chairs and elegant table settings make it the perfect place for a special tete-a-tete or a get-together with friends or family. The 1920s music added a...nice touch to the atmosphere and the service was top notch. And the food! Every bite we tasted was delicious and beautifully presented. This is not a budget restaurant, but it's a great treat. Two things to know: if you go on a weekend, you're almost guaranteed to have to line up outside to get in and they do not take reservations Saturday or Sunday. But they do take reservations on weekdays, so if you're off on weekday, reserve ahead and enjoy!More

Very cosy place with its own recipes and fresh goods, lovely cakes and hot choc, to-die-for waffles with duck and yoghurt sauce and other original options. Chic Croissant plate seems popular, but I found the croissant brioche-like and not buttery with a flaky top like...I prefer. Very pleasant service, artistic pretty presentation. While we waited in line outside there was heating and mugs with fragrant tea were brought out free of charge.More

Visited Regine on a weekday afternoon. I was given the option of a table, but chose to sit at the bar. I was welcomed with a complimentary juice and was described the specials of the day. The poutine was excellent. Spicy chorizo sausage, aged cheddar,...onions, mixed with home-made fries and gravy. Large and delicious portion! Definitely worth the visit! bon brunchMore

Yet another over-hyped, completely undeserving and mediocre tourist trap. An hour-long wait in the cold for completely tasteless food that didn’t go well together on the plate. Large portions that look and feel like cardboard. I barely touched the food on my plate and I...guess it happens often because the waitress didn’t say anything. Nothing was good here. Grilled cheese that was more bread than cheese, salad with zero dressing, fruit cup that tasted like...nothing, crumpets that were like damp sponges, waffles that were soggy. The space is cramped. The bathroom stall is SO tiny it’s exactly like what you’d find on an airplane. With the Jean-Talon market so close by you’d think they could source better ingredients. Please do yourself a favour and do not go here. So many better options i this town! I suggest Le Cartet or Passé-Compose.More

This is the spot for brunch, the pastries at the front when you enter are mouthwatering and they really are good, perfect for a Sunday brunch where it’s worth waiting outside for an hour to have this delicious breakfast with amazing customer service.

The menu is not very large but the flavours most definitely are! Large portions of delicious Quebec fare as well as some original pastries and savouries.

The staff here is so kind hearted and attentive. We were lucky enough to get in after a five minute wait but saw a line form out the door and around the corner the closer it got to brunch time. The menu was French and...not French Canadian so that was a cool aspect as a tourist looking for unique food preparation. The vitamin shooter they give to all guests was delicious and a nice touch. The food was Incredible! Highly recommended!More

The breakfast/brunch here is over the top! Rich and flavorful and huge, in a super friendly, funky setting. The only problem is that they don't have a place for a post-meal nap. Great start for a relaxed day.

On my trip to Montreal I was looking for nice places to have breakfast and this popped up in google. I'm so glad I made the effort. Quite stylish in it's look, the food and service is of an equally high standard. I had the...Chocolate waffles option with orange running throughout. Amazing in taste. And the moccachino I had along with it was perfect. Also special mention must go to the lady who served me - really going all out with the excellent service. Thoroughly recommend this place and I'd go again if I was in Montreal.More
