This is a small eat-in/take-out place that also has frozen dumplings to take out. Minimal offering was perfect with soup & dumplings for less than $10.00. Very tasty, authentic creations and well worth a stop for lunch. Enjoy

Dumplings are good, but the service is so terrible it's funny! The owner is this very grumpy and very rude man that looks super annoyed by customers! But when you want dumplings but don't feel like going all the way to Chinatown, it's worth it!...More

The dumplings at Les Chinoiseries stand out by their freshness and delicate taste. The fare from specialized dumpling shops in Chinatown doesn't come close. They are prepared by the owner's wife. While Mr. Brûlé, the owner, may come through as abrasive and direct, he is...More

I've compared both dumplings from O'TASTY (sold for 4.5 for a big bag in some asian supermarket) With the ones sold frozen at this location. I can confirm that both are EXACTLY the same dumplings that are sold at almost twice the price.

I have no idea what people's problem is here, this place has the best soup in the plateau and better dumplings than most places in Montreal - period. The guy hand makes his stock every day, and hand makes his dumplings and the stuff is...More

as everyone else said, owner makes everyone feel uncomfortable. He hustles everyone in choosing and eating fast. And the food is sort of expensive for what it is. Very sad.

We felt unwelcome from the moment we arrived in this (empty) restaurant. I found myself wondering what we had done to deserve such abrupt and dismissive treatment from the owner. Just one illustration: when we cheerfully asked what items on the menu he would recommend,...More

The owner shouldn't take care of customer service! Arrogant, condescending, he is annoyed to see you come in his resto (!!!) and clearly hate his job! never going back again! Don't waist your money there. Sad as cute resto and good food.

I have never witnessed such bad customer service in all of my years going out in the many options available to eat out in Montreal. This man needs to get out of the public service industry and find himself a job in an office where...More
