It is not my first visit at this place and I was always satisfied. Quick service and kindness of the staff.

The crepes were just ok. I had a mushroom and bechamel crepe with cheese and ham. It was very bland for something containing a bechamel sauce and the mushrooms were from a can. Still, a filling meal, but there were a lot of solid choices in the market area so I wouldn't have it again. The crepes were gluten free... More

Thanks for your interest, I have the pleasure to tell you that you are the only one to contest my crepes, so it's interresting for me to explain to you that you don't know a lot about my sauce bechamel, and also about my mushrooms I cooked myself...so I think that you are not very update with cooking and how... Don't normally write reviews, but the service was too good. Came for breakfast and the crepes are awesome. We had vegetarian crepe and a pear and apple crepe. Great option for vegetarians! Should definitely try all of them. This coupled with great service from the owner really made my day.

Could not decide on just one crepe so my husband and I shared two different crepes. Ham, Swiss Cheese and scrambled egg crepe, followed up with the chocolate and banana crepe. The crepes are tasty and filling, with very fresh ingredients. You do not have to follow a gluten or dairy free diet to enjoy. Highly recommend, wish we had... More

This stall in Marché Jean-Talon is 100% gluten-free, and has a wide variety of crepes that will please both celiacs and the non-gluten-free. They have both sweet and savoury options, both of which are large enough to constitute a full meal. The service is quick, and they have a partly enclosed seating area with space heaters for chilly days.

Ate here on a very cold Monday afternoon. Apple, caramel crepes were soooo good, I think they were made with maple syrup. The kids had a salmon crepe which was also quite good. Crepes had an unusually chewy texture and were brown because they were made out of rice flour...

Whether you are a celiac, gluten free by choice or just looking for amazing crepes this place is a must. The service and food were above average. All of the crepes looked and tasted amazing. The location is also fun because the market is nice to walk around.

The service was great and everything is safe being both gluten free and lactose free. I was tempted to order more than one. However my Ham, Mushroom, cheese and bechamel crepe was so good and filled me up. The owner sat down near me to eat his lunch and we had a nice chat. He cared about my experience, and... More

They serve buckwheat gluten-free crepes. We got to Montreal early morning and stopped here for breakfast. It's a casual sit-down place right inside Jean-talon market. We got a mushroom ham and cheese one. It was good, but I'm not really into buckwheat. Too healthy for me, but my mom loved it!

Description
Who are we? In 2014, after more than fifteen years of experience and a year full of tests and researches, we decided to become the first healthy crepe place in the country. Our motivations : -To improve the crepe to make it healthier. -To allow for people with intolerances to finally enjoy a good crepe, despite constraining diets. -To prefer foods that can be alternatives to wheat. This decision not only brought us to use organic and gluten free flours, such as the buckwheat, chick pea or brown rice flour, but also gluten free ham and lactose free milk and swiss cheese. And to respect our quality charter of healthy and organic food, as well as to maintain a good quality-price ratio, despite the increase in prices, we came to use only fresh eggs from the farm, organic fair trade sugar, apples and fresh vegetables from our producers, and seasonal products the majority of the year. We also looked for passioned and environment-minded associates who would share our preoccupations for the quality of the products. Also, we tried to communicate to our suppliers and clients this willingness to evolve toward an environment-friendly, but still qualitative work.

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighborhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
