I had supper at Damas with my wife and two friends. I was expecting regular dishes from the middle-east. What we found was superb dishes that were elegant and modern. We shared 4 appetizers which were all excellent. As a main course, my wife had...More

If you are going for authentic middle eastern with nice vibe and great menu, go for it! Beware, portions are generous. Love their fattoush salad, tangines (lamb or chicken with apricot both amazing), octopus even grilled fish and rose water honey desserts.

Positively, definitely sensational food. Very attentive service. Varied though small menu. Quite pricey. One could even say overpriced. But so popular, another branch is scheduled to open in another area (downtown) and will include a market section.

The food at Damas is very good service courteous. The only negative is that the price is high for the type of food you are eating. No high priced ingredients but this isn’t reflected in the final bill.

You would want to dress nicely because it is a pretty restaurant with wonderful food, but it is not a fussy place and you can wear whatever pleases you whether it’s jeans or more dress up.

You can sit at the bar is your solo. You can get small plates or a main meal will be sufficient.
