I'm not a Korean food expert, but the Beef Bibimbap with the Atti house sauce we had for lunch was amazing ($12). Service was fast, friendly and polite. I had to ask for a fork, not a problem. Had to ask for a container to take home the rest, not a problem. The bathroom is clean, and they've tried to... More

We have a group of friends going to eat out. Can't think of anywhere to go. Just want a place to get together. Food is secondary.......as long as it's decent with average price. We found Attia. We had a great time. What about the food? What about the service? I asked my friends today. Most can't remember. I recall that... More

Nice place for dating and service was acceptable. Also, food was terrible and pricey. I ordered a beef japchae and that is basically described big plate but small quantity, very few beef for 16$. I went to so many korean restaurants and honestly, this restaurant is the worst. Absolutely not recommended if you want something traditional from korean.

I went to this restaurant earlier this week and ordered Meat & veggie rice bowl Korean style. The food was cold vegetables were not fresh and service was awful. When I asked the waitress if the Tofu was deep fried steamed in my dish, she had no idea. Then I asked if they can do only steamed and again she... More

Food is reasonably priced, but the decor is way too fancy for the grade of food being offered. Would do better as a casual lunch place, we were expecting more given the atmosphere.

I was in Montreal on an overnight business trip and stopped in here for dinner. Saw lots of people getting bibimbap and it looked really good. I opted for some spicy pork. All dishes come with several pickled items (and kimchi). Price was reasonable and I would go back next time I'm in town.

Dishonest ownership, awful service. Keep away. There are many better options with great food served by nice people! It isn't cheap, because they are very greedy with their ingridients! They have no respect for people. Its a cold dead business.

Ate in the basement "Atti Bistro" - a casual bar filled with local Korean McGill students (always a good sign!) - K-pop blaring on the big screen TVs - and a fun menu with lots of tasty options. Bibimbap was delicious, and enjoyed the guilty pleasure of spam and kim chee fried rice. Perfect match to a cold beer.

Atti has much nicer décor than most downtown Korean restaurants (some competitors are little more than cafeterias), its one blemish being an oppressively large TV screen in the main dining area. On our Saturday dinner, the kimchi jjigae (stew) was appropriately spicy, but the grilled calamari was bland and unnecessarily tough. Service was efficient but frosty. ●●●●○ Atmosphere

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
