You need a reservation, but you won't regret your choice. Have been several times and have never been disappointed. Great when out-of-towners visit. Small plates, great for sampling more of the menu.

Perfect restaurant to celebrate any event. Amazing food and service. Do not miss the Piscine for a cocktail, and you must start your meal (which will be amazing no matter what you order) with the Miso oysters

Excellent food and service. Uniformly good meals but it would be time to change the menu as it has been oretty much the same since the opening day.

This seafood-centric restaurant on the Plateau has been on of Montreal's very best since its opening. Owned and run by the same crack team as Club Chasse et Peche and Le Serpent, food and service are refined and the atmosphere is relaxed yet classy as only great Montreal restaurants can manage. Just go.

My fiance and I were in Montreal for a wedding and decided to go to Le Filet for a fancy dinner as it was listed as white-tablecloth affair. It certainly had the atmosphere of fine dining, but unfortunately our experience was a mostly negative one. The portions were very small for how expensive they were and we both left hungry... More

Nice dinning room, friendly & helpful staff, opened kitchen, tad bit of a limited menu, but what they do, they do extremely well! This was my third time and I highly recommend it!

I like everything about this place. Its location, the food, the service. It was recommended to me by a friend's daughter. I will definitely ask for her advice again..

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
