It's always a pleasure to go to Le Filet, you can't go wrong. Every single item on the menu is delicious!! The Service at Le Filet is great. The waiters are very kind, they are well informed about the menus and definitely advise you about the amount of food that you order without pushing you to order more. It's a... More

We were four adults at Le Filet for dinner and were unanimous in our praise of this restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and the service manages to be highly professional yet friendly and welcoming at the same time. Plates are artfully presented. Nice cocktails as well. Not surprisingly, food of the culinary creativity and quality that Le Filet offers... More

We booked our reservation about a month out as with most of our dinner reservations for this trip. We were called the day before for the confirmation and told we would be sitting at the bar. My husband was incredibly upset and told them so. Seems there is a place online with microscopic wording that mentions on page three or... More

Been to this restaurant 5 or 6 times, and each time it was better than the last! The food is simply extraordinary. It is pricey, but worth every penny! I will return again and again and again!!!

LeFilet is great for sharing. Near tennis courts, the menu is broken in Set, Game and Match. We started with oysters done 3 ways, then moved to a wonderful scallop ceviche. I had shrimp risotto, and my wife had pasta with seafood. We switched plates about half way through! This was a very memorable meal. Don't be afraid to try... More

Had a really nice dinner here on a busy Saturday night. Our waiter was informal and knew his wine and food. Happy vibe to the place which is in a nice neighborhood that feels very different from the old port. More residential, less touristy. The crowd was a mix of families, couples and groups of friends. Seemed to work for... More

Went there with my wife. Excellent service and wine recommendation. The grilled octopus was average. The Turbot was excellent. The scampi risotto too and the Hamachi was to die for. The maple square is unforgettable and the Cinderella chocolate mousse is for all chocolate lovers. We will definitely come back.

Our dinner at Le Filet was fantastic. We shared all plates, starting with the scallop ceviche, light and flavourful. Next was the grilled octopus with Israeli couscous - amazing and the flavours perfectly balanced. For the main courses we shared home made linguini then seared cod, again, both fabulous, the linguini expertly prepared and the cod to melt in your... More

We always enjoy going to Le Filet. The food is fantastic, the waiters are always very polite and professional and the ambiance is very fun. If you are 2 people, eating at the bar is very fun because you get to chat with all the staff. It's a high end tapas type restaurant and we recommend 5 or 6 choices... More

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighborhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
