Watch out for the civic address because the outside facade will fool you. It looks like you are entering an electronics store from the outside. Inside is a white out. Very simple and clean design. It's all about the food! The scallops are the signature...More

The restaurant menu is excellent. The service is fairly good. The major downside to Bouillon Bilk is its location.

The food was outstanding, some of the best dishes we have ever experienced! The atmosphere is quite loud!

I always eat here when in Montreal and this last trip I had both lunch and dinner here. Excellent service and the food is still brilliant. Highly recommended.

We didn't have a false note during our entire meal at Bouillon Bilk. The staff was accommodating of a late-ish change in our reservation, and we were greeted with so much warmth by everyone we came in contact with, including our knowledgeable server. The tasting...More

Bouillon Bilk is consistently ranked near the top of Montreal restaurants at Tripadvisor -- and we were not disappointed. Although surprised by the TV repair sign above the restaurant (we had to check and make sure we were at the right place!) -- everything else...More

The food here was beautifully cooked, presented and reasonably priced for what you get. The wine was a bit pricey (but not overwhelming) for what we found in Montreal in general but once tasted felt worth it. Book a reservation in advance (on the restaurant's...More

My wife and I enjoyed a well prepared and presented dinner. A number of the menu choices were more eclectic than normal (particularly the different entrée food pairings), which made for an interesting and fun experience. We started the night off splitting a half dozen...More

Hi, The portion size is indeed a bit smaller but that’s normal for French cuisine... my husband and I ordered an appetizer and an entree each. I was full and he was alright. In my opinion, it’s still worth a try! :)
