Six adults who just couldn't decide what to eat - thank goodness for the option of a 5 or 8 course taster menu. We opted for 5 courses (having eaten our way around Montreal for 5 days our over indulgence tolerance levels were wavering). The...More

This is a sure bet restaurant, everything was simply delicious, the menu is short but solid and will leave you willing to return the next day. Do yourself a favor and try at least this restaurant when you come to Montreal.

Modern, unexpected behind a store front window, first class food and service. Next time at night. French food at its best

Wonderful evening. Not too noisy and excellent service. Extensive wine list but not much on the low price end. Vodka martini had too much vermouth. Make sure you ask for it dry. Food tastefully presented. Sashimi appetizer very good. The scallops and cauliflower very special....More

Really good food, the service was professional and friendly, especially the sommeliere was talented. The wines matched perfectly to the food. The only dish that wasn’t so super was the lamb. The dessert and the tartar were terrific.

My wife and I are currently enjoying several weeks in Montreal, and it feels like we are eating our way through a town apparently well known as a foodie destination. Last night was yet one more spectacular eight course tasting menu with wine pairings, and...More

This is a high-end restaurant about 15 minutes' walk from downtown Montreal on a rather unprepossessing street. Don't worry about the locale, though (this is Canada after all). The service shone throughout and is almost worth a visit by itself; there were eight of us...More

We noted in our online reservation that we were going to a show and this was taken onto accoun and service was quick enough. On great Montreal table serving fine food with a good selection of wine (private imports). Not too noisy, nice view of...More

Minimalist and lively restaurant with excellent food, service, and atmosphere. There was an eggplant dish that was like nothing we've ever tasted. Everyone at the table was passing forkfulls of bites here and there. We don't normally share forks, but it was strangely necessary and...More

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at Bouillon Bilk. The before dinner drinks were great, first course was spectacular, and the scallops were perfect. We also had the truffle linguini which was rich and hearty. We would definitely return when in Montreal. We...More

I didn't see any kids the evening we were there, and it's definitely not a hot-dog-and-chicken-fingers kind of establishment. However, if the kids have fine-dining experience, are well-behaved and not super-picky eaters, I... More

Obviously your probably not in Montreal at this time (Oct. 14!) but if you plan to return and like foie gras, I suggest you take a look at « Au pied de cochon » on Duluth Street. You will be amazed how the foie gras founds... More
