This restaurant is not that large but most welcoming. It is owned by a husband and wife who are most gracious. I chose the menu which gave a choice or orange juice, hot chocolate or soup and then there were choices of mains. The food...is susper good. I started with the carrot, ginger soup and it was lightly flavoured and delicious. For the main I had a pancake with maple syrup toasted cashews and walnuts-yum, yum yum and beets and roasted potatoes. It was all very good. The one thing I felt could use a tweak is that the pancake taste was good but it was way too thick. I think a thinner pancake would be perfection itself.More

Wow. The food is incredible. Very small menu witch is the key. It means that all the dishes will be good. The chef is great and freindly. The front of the room is incredible. Professional and funny and very informatif. The food is smart, innovative....The only negative is the location. I prefered it when it was on the plateau.More

For those of us living in the area we are lucky to have such a good restaurant close by. The food is fresh, local and prepared with pride. Wine list is excellent & this includes the house wine. Choices made were Risotto & Gnocchi with...Kimchi. Both were good. Good portions. Would be nice to have a English menu especially when bringing friends who are visiting the city. We will be back. Make a reservation.More

It is one of the most inventive cuisine I know. The menu is small, but everything is top of the notch. They choose very fresh and high end ingredients as they "Cuisine du marché". Chef Marie-France love her work, and it show. Staff is cheerful...and friendly.More

Try the Discovery 5 course dinner or any other item on the menu. The service is 1st class, very warm and knowledgeable. We followed the waiter suggestions for the wine, it was perfect. We will go back for sure.

We discovered this restaurant a little by chance and chance does things well! We loved it: the charming welcome, the décor, the quality of the dishes, everything was impeccable. We do not drink alcohol and the owner offered us his kombucha which was delicious! My...spouse had the lobster roll as a starter (wow) and I had the beet salad that was served with seasoned bocconcini, a delight! The boucané chicken is perfectly cooked and the French fries are the best I had eaten for a long time. The blood sausage was very good, although I prefer the Petit Flore on Fleury, which is spicier. The desserts are simply sublime! The iced nougat and chocolate and hazelnut dessert were refined and the balance of flavours was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant and we'll probably go back soon enough, if only to get some take-out chicken!More

A couple years ago, I visited Chez Chose and had the most wonderful meal of my life there. I would argue that the meal I had there awakened the foodie inside me and I've slowly understood the finer points of dining. To this date, Chez...Chose remains my favorite restaurant in the world. The most wonderful thing about the restaurant is that you feel wanted. You want to be served a delicious meal, they want your service. The owner/waiter is more than willing to translate the French menu to English and is wonderfully amiable to all customers. The prices have remained reasonable and dining at Chez Chose is more affordable than dining at many fine NYC restaurants. The portions are just the right size for the given price. When it comes to food, I still find every dish delicious. However, I recommend trying the unusual items on the menu. Everything is fresh and local; their most unique dishes cater to that. The foie gras and blood pudding, although French staples, are a far cry from the capabilities their daughter (the chef) can wield. They even serve a starter you haven't ordered. And lastly, although a bit cliche, Chez Chose has helped me understand the more subtle moments in the Pixar movie Ratatouille. Try eating here and rewatching it. I can't wait for the next surprise.More

We had Sunday brunch here and the food is so delicious! Staff are friendly and came over to verbally translate each menu item to English for us.
