Ah... where to begin! First, easy parking (free) which is almost a luxury in Montreal! Then, a friendly and perfect service. An interesting written menu. And then... the revelation! The plates arrive, your first reaction is... "Ah.... so nice", you want to take a picture. And then you eat, and you want the moment to last forever. And when you... More

We had several dishes, all of which were unique and delightful. The host was enormously fun to talk with, but mostly the food was just first rate. Each dish was produced using homemade ingredients and clever combinations of tastes. Outstanding!

Chez Chose was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Fresh farm to table dishes, simply but creatively presented; wonderful varied tastes; fine wine pairings, and an incredible dessert. If you're a foodie or just want a fine, well-thought out meal, both fun and a bit adventurous, don't miss this restaurant. We'll go back on... More

We were made to feel welcomed to share the delicious abundance and variety of Quebec foods by our enthusiastic and gracious host. The 5 course meal with excellent wine pairing choices was the cap to a locavore food tour for 15 educated palates. The 5 complex offerings were consistently delightful, none so heavy or bold as to dominate, beautifully presented... More

The husband and wife owners treat you like family while providing excellent and very polished service. Excellent wine selections to accompany the delectable and innovative food creations. Reservations are a must. The advantage of the out of the way location is that you will always find parking close by.

I really like this restaurant. Food quality is amazing for the price. We went there 4-5 times and were never disappointed. The menu changes often which let's you try new things. Staff is great, always polite and helpful. The downside is when you experience this, it becomes a standard for all new restaurants we are trying now! We will go... More

Call it luck, call it circumstance, whatever it was it was the best meal of my life. Was it the warm and welcoming atmosphere? The clever wine pairing despite my sacrilegious move of drinking red with fish? Was it the insanely on point balance of every single flavour?! The happy staff? The sophisticated little freebies in between? I don't want... More

My family and I had the opportunity to visit this fabulous restaurant to celebrate my dad's 60th bday. I had read all the reviews and I'm happy to say you should belive the hype. The service was impeccable! They took the time to explain to us all the intricacies of their wonderfully crafted plates. As we were a big group... More

Perhaps not situated in a trendy part of town, but certainly worth the detour. Be prepared, the owner will be full of stories. He will tell you the origin of everything in your plate (cuisine du terroir). From the artisanal cheese to the meat. He will describe to you the region and the people managing the farms. His wife assists... More

Chez Chose offers a menu from a blackboard. This menu varies depending on the season and the products from our providers, each and every one of them Quebec's very own craftsmen. It also varies following the fantasies of our chef Marie-France Desrosiers whom plays around the products we receive, maintaining a fresh and seasonal selection. May it be foie gras, vegetables, rabbit, guinea fowl regardless of the delivery, she will lay in your plate a joyful mix of flavours . The perfect brew of our local farmers' hard work and the genius of Marie-France has made Chez Chose something... Grandiose. Have a taste, you will see....

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighborhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
