Great Italian and even better staff!

My wife and I where here over a year ago (from Vancouver) and had to go back just to see if it was as good as the last time. It was even better. You are greeted by a very pleasant staff and then the owners will usually stop to say hello. Oddly Vince even remembered us and some of the... read more

The best Italian food I have ever had! Everything is perfectly prepared & wonderfully presented - appetizers, pasta, mains and desserts. The wine list is superb. And as good as the food is, the service was better! Friendly, fast and professional. The only lack was the dismal selection of beer - startling in contrast to the rest of the offerings.

We were happy to take a break from all the French food we were eating and have a good old fashioned Italian meal. We were not disappointed! The calamari and mozz di bufala were excellent appetizers to start and the gnocchi was amazing. The portions are smaller then you would expect of pasta dishes so don't expect that big plate... More

The owner and staff welcomes you like old friends on your first visit. The food is well prepared and presented and offers some interesting twists on old favorites. The space has a warm, inviting vibe and it's perfectly located near Norte-Dame. A must stop in Montreal.

This was just a few steps away from Basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal. Very convenient for Old Montreal hotel guests. Food was very good. Service was good too, although a bit chaotic at times. Pasta seemed to be freshly made as opposed to dried or frozen. Recommended.

After reading amazing reviews we had to try this place out. The food was amazing and we tried many dishes including grilled octopus and the mushroom risotto. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! The servers were so friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience!

The daughter of one of the owners has celiac disease and she is the official taste tester. Food was delicious and delightful, pasta was dente and service was excellent. Everyone was told about the celiac. Great GF bread.

Home made with love - just like Nonna used to make! We happened into Quattro by accident and were warmly greeted by Francesco. From start to finish, the meal was outstanding. Starting with complimentary bruschetta, we shared an appetizer of Burrata imported fresh from Italy. The pasta was layered with so many wonderful flavors. The atmosphere was modern and comfortable.... More

My friend is vegetarian and gluten intolerant, so we had to find a restaurant that would work for her, and found this wonderful restaurant in a gorgeous part of the city. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious.

I am gluten intolerant and have gluten occasionally. It was worth it. I had a great meal and overall experience with a colleague.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
