Lunchtime Special

I've only eaten here at lunchtime and the menu is perfect. You have small portions that are of the right amount for a 1 hour lunch. The food is well seasoned and it gives your taste buds a whirl! You have a little bit of soup, salad and a main dish served with fragrant rice and the Naan bread is... read more

I came here about 4 years ago and didn't like it very much. I decided to give it another try and loved it. They changed cooks and you can tell. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Portions are bigger than most Indian restaurants that I've been to. Would def return!

Beautiful cozy atmosphere, with a gracious host and fabulous food. Prices are very reasonable also. A great find in Montreal--you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food and terrific service. Our entire family enjoyed Devi. Their Keralan dishes were particularly good.

Went here with my boyfriend on our first night in Montreal. If you like Indian food you'll love this place. It was a little pricey so we decided the Table d'hôte for $29 was the best value (3 courses). Lots of food and really delicious flavors,

The secret of an Englishman enjoying a curry in North America, I've been told, is to tell them that you enjoy HOT food. That certainly worked tonight. I've eaten, and like, far hotter food, but if I had not stipulated that fact, then the vindaloo I ordered may well have been far too bland. The reception in this place is... More

We dined here on 30.9.15 by chance,Ca having been to the Rodin Exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts and we were starving!! Saw this restaurant amongst many and it really did look inviting and good value!! You never know what to expect when you're eating curry away from home = UK as it is it is always going to... More

We were greeted with a smile and our waiter was very polite and helpful. The butter chicken is one of the best I've had and that goes for the nan bread. My only complaint is the amount they give for the price you pay.

We dined here whilst visiting Boston as we fancied something different. The restaurant was just starting to get busy so we were lucky to get a nice window seat where we able to watch the pouring rain soaking the passers by. We didn't fancy a starter but were given complimentary popadums and some dips. For the main course I went... More

If you are into Indian food - look no further! Excellent food, Excellent service! Nicely decorated restaurant. We asked the waiter for directions so he got out his phone to show us on Google maps. Then he left his personal phone with us at the table to browse for other sights since our internet didn't work. Now that I call... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
