I love this place! I came her on my first day in Montreal and my last, three years later, and many times in between! I've heard great bands, seen amazing artwork, drank many a St. Abroise Apricot and eaten so many sweet potato burritos I can't even count! Do yourself a favour and eat here.

We stopped by, after looking on Tripadvisor, because it was nearby. However, it is no longer open. The space is empty and they are trying to rent it out to somebody else.

We came across this place on tripadvisor and we were so glad we stopped in. They offer a smaller menu, but everything is done well and delicious - great drink options as well. I loved the vibe - and also the sweet potato taco!

This is such a fun restaurant, it is more a community feel than a restaurant. The menu is small and the quality is great. The staff are always incredibly friendly and it is an entirely vegetarian resto. In addition to that they are very knowledgeable and great with gluten free (all the tacos are safe) and it is all around... More

This walk-up spot is near the Fine Arts Museum, McGill and Concordia Colleges. It's bare-bones apartment-like dining areas look and feel "student and budget" but you come for the food. The offerings are simple: a few types of burritos, enchiladas and tacos with side dishes like sprout and quinoa salads. But make no mistake - this is not Taco Bell... More

The most recent visit was pretty short. Early evening, few customers, a couple of staff behind the order desk and several in the kitchen. No greeting when the two of us arrived. We checked out the menu for a minute, then stepped up to order. Which is when one staffperson left to go into the kitchen, the other turned her... More

After a few days of meat free food in Canada, this is a great antidote. It's simple, tasty, fresh, happy service, in a friendly buzzing place. Couldn't recommend it more as the total opposite to some very average food court food in Montreal. Food cooked and served with care - great place...

Mentioned in Moon guide book, this vegetarian restaurant has since changed management and is run by a co-op. Though the burrito we ordered was OK, the menu was limited and they were out of some ingredients and drinks. I thought it was overpriced for what we had. The brownstone residence converted to restaurant has potential but instead felt shabby (not... More

I always loved Mexican food, REAL Mexican food, not the American/Mexican food. Its really hard to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. Burritoville it the closest i've ever got. Most authentic in Montreal and organic and tasty. I'll advice anyone that wanna go in a Mexican food restaurant to go there, vegetarian or not.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighborhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
