We enjoyed a late breakfast upstairs at Chez Suzette and were genuinely surprised how good our crepes were. The servings were generous. I had the asparagus crepe. Two large crepes were served with generous amounts of tender but not over cooked asparagus with lots of cheesy bechemal sauce. My husband enjoyed a cheese mushroom and egg crepe - he is... More

I love that the menus are posted outside which allows guests to make an informed choice. I have dined in France and the crepes I had here are just as good. The prices are reasonable and the service was wonderful. The waiter helped with the selections and I was very pleased.

It was an ok restaurant, no real complaints. The food was average I thought and the lower level was really crowded which was not pleasant. At the end of our meal I went upstairs to use the facilities to discover another room that was half empty. Why didn't they offer to sit us upstairs? Service was good.

We walked past Creperie and decided to stop for dessert and boy was that best decision ever. Service was quick and polite and the crepes to die for. We actually felt happy after the food and so full up at it was almost hard to walk. If you don't stop here something wrong with you.

Our son had the Montréalaise crépe, which was devoured in minutes. My wife and I each had the French Onion Soup, perfect. So good and filling we had no room for a crépe! Next time...

We were recommended this restaurant by our concierge (we educated him) as a fondue place. We LOVE fondue. This was terrible. The cheese fondue was soggy and obviously pre made and reheated. The meat was passible but with awful sides and sauces (ketchup and ranch dressing!?!?) we were given 1 pot of broth for 4 people so it took forever... More

We stopped for lunch and ate delicious savoury crepes, a cheese fondue and sweet crepes. They were all delicious, staff was ok- located in a lovely part of Montreal, near Old Port.

Crepes and chocolate fondue were terrible, the fruit that came with the fondue was soggy, you can tell that it was defrosted. Even though we had salty crepes (chicken) they were kind of sweet and tasted like vanilla, cheap ingredients, everything seemed processed. Service was also bad, unfriendly. The view to the street is the only thing. Not recommended.

We ate here in July 2016 during a family trip to Montreal. We wanted something different. I had a seafood crepe which had too much cheese on it. The service was adequate - fast but not at all friendly. The ambience was nice.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
