Service was great, food was amazing, coffees were enormous. Price was high but 3 days later we were still talking about the crepes we had so must have been worth it!

We walked off the street and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, the wait staff and the pricing.

I went for lunch while I was in Montreal for work. The cappuccino was enormous and quite tasty. The French onion soup and beet salad were incredible as well. Highly recommend.

My husband and I ate lunch here. Lovely restaurant made me feel like we were in Paris. The waiters were attentive and helpful. Crepes are a too rich for me on a regular basis. I had the spinach crepe and a garden salad. The salad was large and the veggies were fresh. Nice time.

First, we ordered the onion soup and it was warm but not hot enough. Second we ordered spaghetti meat sauce for my son and the wait staff asked us "with or without" cheese so we asked "no cheese". It came with lots of cheese like gratin. And our last order was dark chocolate crepe with vanilla ice cream which they... More

Convenient and unpretentious brunch in Old Montreal, there are 3 levels so you can get different views and if the noise is too loud on one sit on another. Service was a little bit slow but hey it's Brunch on a Sunday! And our waiter was amazing considering at the end he told us he struggled with English, wouldn't know... More

We arrived on a Sunday at about noon for brunch with 2 other couples. We ordered cappuccinos and Cafe Au Laits which were good and came reasonably quickly. But our meals which ranged from salads to fondues to crepes took over an hour to be served and when they finally arrived the soup was cold. We were not the only... More

Order the chicken crepe and order bechmel sauce with it if you like a cream type sauce. I have to say the crepe was huge and amazing and it was the best chicken dish that I have ever had. Service was fast and quaint little restaurant that I can't recommend enough !

We had an onion soup and a vegetable soup for appetizers. Real enjoyed them. Then the crêpes were perfect. We had the chicken supreme, one of us with the mushroom sauce and the other with bechamel sauce. Both were excellent. Mouth watering. Then we had the Nutella crêpes with strawberries and the other with bananas. I'm drooling just writing this.... More

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
