We found this place on trip advisor and decided to stop. All they serve is gnocchi and it is very good. A nice sized portion for $5 and the sauce was great too.

I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever had, slightly over cooked, with a simple sauce but for $5 it was perfect. We were sort of hungry and really cold and as soon as we saw someone walk away with the little steaming takeout...box of gnocchi I was sold!More

Totally stumbled upon this place when I went to get bagels at Fairmount Bagel right next door. There was a line down the street for this place. After eating our bagels, we went to check out what the line was and it's a storefront homemade...gnocchi place! It's all they sell and it's $5. It was absolutely delicious and you can't beat the price. Hurry there to get a pint of pasta before they run out for the day!More

Hole in the Wall - literally, just a window - sells tomato sauce with gnocchi in a $5 take-out portion to local and tourists. That's it. Nothing else. No drinks. No spaghetti. No fried mozzarella. But there's a long line waiting for this one product....The tomato sauce is flavorful - like your Italian grandmother would make. If she was a world class cook.More

Montreal is truly a Foodie City. Next door to Fairmount Bagels we stumbled upon Drogheria Fine - a storefront that sells gnocchi in freshly made sauce. For $5.00 you can get a small Chinese takeout container filled with delicious gnocchi and sauce. There are no...tables so you grab a few plastic forks and stand on the street or find a bench. The sauce is also available for purchase, but that is all they sell: gnocchi in sauce and jars of sauce! They are open seven days a week, but can close before the posted hours if they have run out of product and don’t want to be stuck with leftovers. Grab some bagels at Fairmount and then some gnocchi here and from there continue your Montreal foodie trek.More

What a great place. The sauce is amazing - best we've ever had. The gnocchi was also great. And it is such a steal - very filling, great taste, and a great price. Definitely worth a stop here.

Went here with high expectations and they were not met. It’s just ok. Sauce reminds me of chef boybardee, I know that’s bad to say, but it’s true. I have eaten around the world and this was a disappointment. I would’ve been upset if it...were priced higher, thankfully it is only $5.More

This multi-generation tiny window of a restaurant is an absolute gem! Serving gnocchi della nonna (grandma's potato dumpling pasta with sauce) and nothing else, they know their craft well. You can get the gnocchi with cheese (vegetarian) or without cheese (vegan) put in a Chinese...takeout box and smothered in their delectable family-recipe tomato sauce. I got it without cheese and it was great. The gnocchi is tender and the sauce is amazing. For $5, it's even more amazing. They also sell jars of their delicious sauce for $10 (I think).More

This was a neat stop on our food tour. I love gnocchi and enjoyed the homemade sauce. I tend to like a spicy or garlic sauce, but I enjoyed Frank’s recipe and the history behind it. I’d recommend going to support local and for the...fair price. It’s a unique experience.More

Yum ! We picked up a couple servings of the delicious gnocchi and sat on the sidewalk to eat it. There are no tables. It’s a must on many food tours of Mile End.
