We were pleasantly surprised! Delicious entrees; salmon tartar and plum/tomato salad. Main course; steak frites and sea bass on a bed of Mediterranean couscous absolutely delicious, I was transported to Sicily or Greece. Accompanied of a bottle of red wine and of course dessert; key...lime tarte…. To die for! The service was great. Reason for not giving 5 stars is because I found the decor a little bland and there should be some kind of separator to block the view of the bathrooms. The tables close to the bathrooms have a straight view into them if the door isn’t closed, not a very pleasant view to have during dinner.More

We have been eating here regularly for a number of years. Wonderful beet salad and crab cakes are favourite appetizers of ours. On the regular menu the shrimps are excellent. Pasta always a good option.. The fish special is always cooked perfectly, moist with light...flavourful sauces and seasonal veggies. Lemon tart excellent. Save a trip Into town for fine dining on West Island. Service always good despite turnover of staff over the course of the pandemic.More

I've heard about this place a lot. So decided to try it our finally. Ambiance is super simple. Service was very friendly. The food however - it was ok, nothing outstanding. For the price I expected much more. I will not be returning as there...are plenty of places with much more interesting and tasty food.More

I am lactose intolerant. The chef would not even swap the fries (cooked in butter) for vegetables. "I have never done and never will.". The staff is great, just stay clear of the chef and his ego.

When people ask, who has the best burger on the West Island...Bistro Grace is #1!!! 1855 Black Angus ground beef, cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, crisp iceberg, onion & tomato all on a delicious toasted potato roll. OMG, so good...give it a shot. Oh, and their...dirty martini is pretty darn good too! :) And, not on this visit, but their tartares and calamari are amazing, along with the beet, house and Caesar salads.More

Disclaimer: This is not a food review but a service review. My husband wanted to surprise me with a candle-lit dinner for our wedding anniversary this weekend. Since his culinary skills are limited to toasting Eggos, he decided to order from Bistro Grace. He called...three days ahead and was told to order from the blackboard which is posted on their FB Page on Thursday afternoon. The menu was not posted on Thursday, so he called and was told it is posted on Instagram on Friday. He tried to order on Friday but was told they were not taking anymore orders, and encouraged him to call today (Oct 23). He called, as instructed and was told that the chef was not filling take-out orders today. The lack of communication from Bistro Grace has been frustrating and disappointing to say the least. I will never try to order from them again, and will never dine there. I will also tell everyone I know how feckless, unhelpful, and incompetent the staff is. We just ordered from La Maison Verte, who are polite, prompt, and efficient. Looking forward to a great dinner.More

Not my first time there but thoroughly disappointed! I ordered the fish special - cod and it was so salty it was inedible. I told the waitress who brought it back to the kitchen and offered me something else. I said I would have the...linguini and clams instead. She went to the kitchen and told the chef who is also the owner who said that he wouldn’t serve it as he seasons it. I have no problem with seasoning- I have a problem when the food tastes like a bottle of salt was poured on it. In any case they refused to replace my fish with the pasta and I ended up with the burger which was good but not what I came out for. It’s a shame because it’s a local restaurant and we won’t be going backMore

Creative and very tasty summer menu! We tried the peach with rosemary cocktail and it was excellent. The oysters fresh and tasty. The Fatouche summer salad was so tasty and creative, and the main course was just as good. The entire meal was good quality,...excellent flavours and friendly on point service. We would definitely recommend going…..and we will be back again soon!More

A real treasure of a place in Montreal's West Island region that serves very fresh and tasty food ! The Potato Crusted Atlantic Salmon was delicious, seasoned perfectly, and cooked to perfection. The "sauce gribiche" that accompanies the salmon is absolutely amazing... a must try!...The atmosphere and ambiance is wonderful ! Thank you for a great meal !More

We have ordered a few times for take out, and it's always been good. This time we decided to dine-in with my sister and brother in law. All safety protocols...sanitizing, masks, distancing were in place, which was nice to see as it was our first...time out in a while. We were greeted immediately at our table by our server. Drinks came quickly. Beer was nice and cold and my Dirty Martini was excellent. Oysters were delicious, chilled and fresh. Nice presentation. My Caesar Salad was crispy with a flavorful dressing, parm regg and anchovy on top. Both tartares, as usual were amazing and came spicy as requested. The Fig Tartine from the blackboard menu was great and shared with the table. My wife was very pleased with her Beet Salad and Atlantic Salmon. My sister and brother in law were also delighted with their meals and evening. The wine was perfectly chilled. For dessert, we had the Lemon Tart and Banana Cheesecake, both were incredible. Service was beautiful all night. Great atmosphere with cool jazz background music. Definitely will go back, highly recommended. Thanks for a great evening.More

This resto came highly recommended by regulars and the food did not disappoint . The steak frites was great.., the steak was cooked perfectly and was like butter . Fries were crispy and really liked the malt mayo that came with them . Others had...the salmon tartare and the beef tartare and both were excellent . Service was very good EXCEPT, if I had one complaint , it would be this : when making the reservation online we were not advised that a 6:30 seating was actually a 6;30-8:30 seating. Shortly after arriving at 6:30 , we were told we had to finish by 8:30 since they were « flipping » the table . Then a few minutes later, we were encouraged to order . It was supposed to be a birthday celebration yet we had no time for dessert or coffee, both of which I had been looking forward to . I’ve never been asked to leave a restaurant before because they had more people coming . Had I known , I would have reserved a table later to be allowed to linger over coffee and dessertMore

A very nicce place to spend New Years eve, probably a good place for any night. This bistro with a modern appearance is settled in a tiny strip mall well within a residential area. We were nicely greeted, our coats checked (with a number IDing them),...and escorted to our table. Simple decore no tablecloths. We had a 4 course meal consisting of a shrimp bisque (many medium sized shrimp), Fatoush salad (super fresh, with pomgrenate seeds), A main of spagetti and seafood (2 large scallops, plenty of large shrimp, clams in their shells and calamari (rings and tentacles), and a great chocolate torte with hazelnuts (nice big chuncks) and a smooth icecream. The meal was superb. Everthing cooked to perfection. The service was impecable, we were never rushed...and had all our needs met. Truly a gem. We agreed to return. Price $80 per person plus tax, service ans beverages.More
