This is simply a fantastic spot that was recommended to us by several people and we took their advise and went - glad we did. Food was out of this world, service was second to done and atmosphere was modern, young and just really well the trip there. Highly recommend this place...

The coffee, parties and sandwiches are excellent. There is always a wait but worth it. You could take sandwiches or salad to go if you don't want to wait. We went back here everyday during our trip.

Do not skip this place!!! You'll be highly disappointed. Try the cuban...I almost went twice to get it again. There's nothing else like it. Great coffee and pastries to go!

My husband and I both had the green salad and the Cubano Sandwich. Coming from South Florida, I was hesitant to order a sandwich that i could get any day of the week in our area but this sandwich bared no resemblance, in a good way, to the Cuban version. We also ordered pasteries and brownies to go that were... More

This restaurant has very good ratings but hard to get into even for breakfast or lunch without a wait. We tried one day only to come back the next day and have a meal. The food is very fresh and the waiters are cook staff are hustling but if you are in a rush you should pick a different place.... More

There are many place for coffee in old Montreal, but only few actually have very good coffee and some great food option and that's definitely one of them. Very busy at lunchtime but was still worth a stop for a coffee and a patisserie

The food is healthy and good and the portions when you eat in are not too bad but take out portions are a bit of a joke. Overall overpriced when you include tips.

Stopped into this cafe while in Old Montréal...perfect coffee hot , not bitter and came with a lively swirl on top. The desert was an peach pie of sorts... Lovely peaches which tasted like they were grilled....pastry was moist and not too sweet. The staff was curtious with smiles on their faces even thou they were busy. My visit on... More

Trendy happening place with a great vibe. Be prepared to queue approx 20-30 mins but worth it. If sunny you can sit on seats outside while you wait.

Thank Linda W

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
