We came here for a golden wedding anniversary. What a mistake! Everyone's food was too salty. I had ordered the pollo con funghi and it was soo salty I could feel my arteries hardening. My aunt left all her pasta there it was soo salty. Service is slow and one of the waiters needed an attitude adjustment. We will NEVER... More

Positive: service was very good; waiter came only when needed but was always there when needed. Negative: poor environment: large rooms, noisy, decoration missing. Food is average roadside restaurant quality: small portions very salty and spicy, bread not fresh. Nothing special to remember except for high prices. Be warned!

We got together last night at this restaurant! It's a great location because prior to that the Carrefour Laval Mall is the best in the city ! So shop then bring your purchases to supper , and enjoy your supper ! We started with their house salad , very tasty with a sliver of fresh Parmesan cheese and a few... More

Last minute idea to eat here . Have eaten here on several occasions and find that its not as good as it has been . Had one of the new dishes from the veal menu and it was a salt fest .ooff . Our other dish was the mussels and it also was not very good. Small portion with many... More

Good food, good service, very good value (BYOB), but noise level too high because we are many dining at the same time. Very good steaks.

Décor was nice.....different levels, lots of windows. Caesar salad was tasty...dressing had flavour and did not just rely on parmesan to boost flavour. I wanted to order mussels, but waiter advised me to select something else since mussels were off season and he could not guarantee I would be pleased. I appreciated his advice and selected Tortellini which was delicious.... More

This is a very nice restaurant with very good food and pretty good prices but service is lacking. Waiters give you impression that they are unionized because of the way they act. they need to be more customer oriented. Parking is shared with the Mall and is sometimes hard to find parking close by and may require a nice little... More

I had reserved a table one month in advance for a group of 6 people. They gave us the first table at the entrance, where it was noisy and busy. The food was very good but the waitress was 'pushing' to sell all sorts of food at la carte which is a bit expansive. What I appreciate the most about... More

I met a few friends at Portovino to unwind over supper on a Friday night. It's BYOB so I couldn't order a cocktail, but they opened the wine that we brought. I ordered pasta and had creme brulee for dessert. Everything was so good. One of my friends had the cannolli with chocolate chips and loved it. Portions can be... More

I went to Portovino with my family for a birthday diner. The food is overpriced and the quality didn't impress me at all. I ordered the Scaloppine Di Vittelo Alla Parmigian and the meat was very oily (which contradicts what is indicated on the menu). My mother in law ordered the same plate and had the same opinion. We kindly... More
