Well, we've been going to the Culinary Institute for over 30 years, in one location or another; it's been in its present location for about 20 years now. Valentine's Day was the latest, and it did not go well. First, the good part. They've renovated...More

My friend and I had lunch here today. I had the Confit Pork & Glasgow Gouda Grilled Cheese with a Spiced Tomato Soup Shooter. It was literally the best sandwich I ever had. Very professional service, amazing view with very large windows, and a lovely...More

The newly renovated Lucy Maud Dining Room at the Culinary Institute in Charlottetown is amazing. The decor is sophisticated, modern, with muted colour schemes and wall to wall windows overlooking Charlottetown harbour. The Culinary Institute is eastern Canada's premier cooking and food service training school....More

Our first visit since the reopening and we were impressed. The appetizers and small plates were most interesting. Th ravioli and foie gras were outstanding. My wife said the oysters were very nice. The mains were less impressive. I had lamb shank and my wife...More

I would have given this experience, November 30, 2017, a lower rating except for the fact that we have dined here many times over the past 20 years and it has been good to excellent otherwise. The new renovations are wonderful and the spectacular view...More

This is the dining room of the Culinary Institute at Holland College. The staff are second-year students, supervised by faculty. The setting is fantastic, overlooking the harbor through large windows. The service is impeccable. The food is excellent. Probably the best restaurant in town. Currently...More

Service was top notch. Big shout out to Laura for saving the day with the wine selection again. Appetizers were fabulous, my tenderloin was perfect, everyone at the table was impressed. We are here often and this was probably the best yet.

We've been going to the "Culinary Institute" (no one calls it the "Lucy Maud" around here) for decades, so obviously, we're satisfied customers. Service is always excellent, even though many of the servers are trainees, and the room itself is beautiful, with a fine view...More

Crusted fish with asparagus was the main. Worthy of a birthday supper! Service was great, food was beautifully presented and everything tasted wonderful.

The newly-renovated dining room is the training restaurant for The Culinary Institute of Canada. Our students, under the guidance of world class chef instructors, prepare extraordinary culinary creations using the very best the fields and waters of PEI have to offer. The Institute’s fine dining restaurant and first floor dining areas are undergoing significant upgrades as part of a $7.5 million renovation and expansion project. We will re-open to the general public in November 2017 with a fresh new look. The renovation and expansion to The Culinary Institute of Canada was made possible by investments from the federal and provincial governments, and a capital campaign led by the Holland College Foundation, called Nourish.
