We visited Brits on a recommendation of friends. We stopped in on a chilly Saturday afternoon for a quick bite to eat. We were greeted quickly and pleasantly. We were seated in a comfy booth. After viewing the menu, all three of us decided on the haddock fish and chips. When in Rome, right? We each ordered a one piece... More

Brits is our goto lace for fish and chips. It's the UK style oh so good and tasty. The takeout version is just as good

This was a stormy night and we were looking for something open, with parking within walking distance. Brits Fish and Chips met those criteria. The manager/owner made us feel welcome and he was extra generous with our glasses of wine. I think I made the cardinal sin of NOT ordering the fish and chips. I had scallops instead and they... We have been there a number of times and so far it has not disappointed any of our group. Good fish and chips - I tried the Bangers and Mash last visit (not as good as the real thing in England BUT good.. In fine weather they have a patio out on the street side - did not try it... More

Right in the heart of Charlottetown, this fish and chip spot is a great little spot to grab a quick bite especially if your a fish lover. I have eaten here a few times alone and with friends. Most people like the fish and chips for sure. They are battered fish and home fries and you can get the sweet... More

Portions were 2 large pieces for 1 piece meal and 4 large pieces for the 2 piece meal! I had the smaller meal with avocado salad and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. My husband had the larger with fries and had more than his share of oil! I stole a few of his fries and understand. All good in moderation, get... More

It looks a little dingy from the outside and when you first enter, but if really good fish and chips is what you crave, go in and pull up a chair. WARNING: The portions are HUGE. My wife ordered the one piece meal and got 2 very large pieces of fish. I ordered the2 piece and got 4 huge pieces!... More

We stopped in for pub food and a couple of pints. We ended up with a great dining experience that included salad, bacon wrapped scallops, mussels and 2 pints of stout. You can't go wrong.

We went there after chatting with an English lady who said it served good fish and chips. I had the hake and chips. It was awful. The batter on the fish was thick and very greasy and the chips- well they were appalling. They were soggy, very greasy and a very odd shade of brown so heaven knows what they... More

As the restaurant prides itself on British-style fish and chips my wife and I, both British ex-pats, went to get lunch today. The fish wasn't too bad but the chips were terrible. The curry sauce was powdery and cold when first brought to the table, and also not cooked, so we sent it back for heating. A completely different curry... More
