as i walked in , i was met by Mark, very laid back and confident. I was hungry to say the least , I started with the calamari... WOW, probably the best i have ever had for taste, and the presentation was incredible , the...plate was full of colour, with a small bit of greens with shaved carrots, some colourfull slaw and and aoli, which was tastey .. and with exact timing , as soon as i was done with my starter , there was my platter of fish and chips, hot and steaming with 3 different fish , lots of really great fries and light tasting and home made onion rings , crunchy on the outside and melted in my mouth , lightly breaded.... my hats off to this place , one of the best i have ever had... anywhere , i can hardly wait to go back and try some other delish items on the menu... seriously. ..... i have toMore

Wanting some fish and chips, and after the workday my wife and I thought we would make a visit Brit's which we had always enjoyed. I turns out the ownership had changed from our previous visits. The oil flowed out of the fish that was...heavily battered. Neither of us enjoyed our meal, more especially when we received the bill.More

We went here for the first time in October, and we all really enjoyed the meal. I went with my husband and my parents. One had the lobster roll and the rest of us had the one piece fish and chips which was plenty for...us and maybe a little too much for my mom but she still enjoyed every bit of it. It was the best fish and chips I have had for a long time. We don’t get to PEI a lot but it will be a stop on our next trip. Also the service was great.More

Looked forward to trying the establishment one evening after reading the great reviews. Lacklustre at best. Oven chips served for the chips?? Mushy peas were dire. Toasted bread served with fish and chips, different, and the service was poor (considering the place was quiet), waited...over an hour for two haddock and chips. On the positive, when the food came the haddock was tasty and cooked to perfection. Shall not be returning.More

Great food, great price, great location! We had the haddock and chips, and the bacon wrapped scallops. Hearty sized portions and very tasty. I had a pint of Fire Chief's Red Ale - very good!

We ordered the family meal and took home almost half of it. The fish and chips were good. The mushy peas could have been a bit more mushed!

We couldn’t have been happier - nice selection of beer and seafood! Plenty of alternative options for picky eaters...

Lots of greats fish options to get the fish you want cooked the way you like it. I had 1-pc halibut with the wide-cut chips, and was very pleased with the meal I recieved. I would describe the fish & chips as "traditional English style",...so an aptly-named restaurant. Service was extremely quick and friendly, and it was good value for my money.More

The restaurant was street level as were the bathrooms. Give the restaurant a call. They’re very helpful.
