Not only delicious food, Claddagh Oyster House offers great service in a really well done pub atmosphere, with a touch of casual elegance! Such a variety of oysters offered! First time for me to try the 'Wee Willy' oysters.YUM! Fresh, and hard to stop eating them. If you like raw oysters, and you happen to be in Charlottetown, PEI then... More

The service was friendly and the food was better than average but you pay a lot for it. I am normally a dessert person but not one dessert on their list appealed to me.

The place was busy and we ended up eating at the bar. Brianne was our server. She was great. We had seafood, salad and 2 pints of Guinness all of which were prepared perfectly. For dessert we had the bread pudding topped with an unbelievable sauce. DON"T MISS THE BREAD PUDDING!

On one of the nights we stayed in Charlottetown we wanted a fine dining experience before we left town and we took a chance on this restaurant. We were glad we did. It is a fine spot downtown with an excellent menu and none of us were disappointed with our choices. We would certainly go back and we highly recommend... More

Great oysters, decent steak and ok wine by the glass selection. Lighting a little gloomy and not much ambience, but overall a reasonable experience.

We tried this place based on reviews we read, and found that none of the restaurant's fans exaggerated in the least. Everything here was delicious, from the oysters to the Atlantic salmon we had for dinner. It was so good that we went back the next day for the "oyster happy hour" - oysters are $1 each. The service was... More

Irish themed bars outwith their country are anathema to me. This is an exception. First, it's more a gastroubled, emphasis on the gastro. Headlining on seafood, they have a selection of different oysters depending on location around the island. You can buy singly (as I did ). They were excellent. There are a number of options other than seafood, but... More

We don't eat oysters, but we stopped here anyway, largely for the Guinness on tap. The food was great; My appetizer was honeyed ribs which were the tenderest I have ever had. Service was very friendly.

Went to the Claddagh Oyster House based on the reviews in TripAdvisor and once again we were not disappointed, well almost. It was my goal on this trip to sample as much of the local fare as possible so of course I started off with the oysters. They were amazing , fresh well presented and delicious. The mussels for the... 12 of us for dinner here. I had the mussels, (amazing) my friends had a bit of everything including oyster. fried fish, various salads etc. Wine selection is excellent and priced accordingly. Don't miss out on this intimate restaurant. Live music and bar upstairs. Reservation's recommended... don't miss out on this superb restaurant.
