The restaurant is attached to St. Lawrence Market which automatically makes the location super convenient. We had a good hearty breakfast for such a value. The food tasted great specially their rye bread and bacon. Isabel the waitress was a ray of sunshine for the morning. I enjoyed the experience even more with her taking great care of us.

We had breakfast here while visiting the St. Lawrence Market. Everything was excellent and the servings were large and delicious. The waitstaff all cooperate to provide instant response to anything you need so even as crowded as it was the service was fast and friendly. This is a happening place!

Stopped by at the take-out counter to grab a peameal bacon sandwich. Topped it with honey mustard and some lettuce. They give a good amount of bacon in the sandwich. It is so good and a real star at St. Lawrence Market.

I've been eating at Paddington's for years and always feel like I'm welcomed into a good friend's kitchen when I arrive. It's a wonderful place to watch the world go by and enjoy the St. Lawrence Market. My favourite part is seeing all the different people enjoying being together in this great place. Couples, families, friends, old, young - everyone... More

Easy, no complaints. Simple country style diner in the middle of the city. Located on the corner of the property with an exterior door. Connected to the rest of the market complex which was neat to walk though.

It is a small restaurant. My boyfriends eggs were under cooked. It took a long time for the waitress to serve us. When it came time to get the bill we waited a long time, we couldn't even see our waitress around anywhere, he finally gave up and went to the cash to pay the bill. We will never go... More

We stopped in here for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. Per our guide's suggestion, we tried the "oink" sandwich. Wow! It was simply outstanding. The counter service was friendly and helpful. If you are in or near the St. Lawrence Market, give these folks a try!

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
