This little restaurant is located in the greek town area of Toronto. We took the subway out to it simply because the reviews were so good. Let's just say I wasn't overwhelmed with the experience. Although very small inside, the atmosphere had a quaint feel to it. The waiter seated us at our table then he promptly asked us to... More

The best Greek meal I have ever had. Only about 30 seats in the restaurant. Family atmosphere, the owner spent five minutes with out table. Everything was amazing!!!

I discovered the restaurant/bar thanks to its high rating in TripAdvisor. It isn't big inside, and the deco is more like a bar in a strip mall. My family ate there five times - the food was great in each visit. When the waitress invited us - the first time we went - to the kitchen, I didn't know what... More

Love it, its a small place so book before a must go visit. I didn't book, they put me at the bar, it was very busy. I love that it's a small place and family run by George, who is amazing and very hospitable. I got lamb chops for dinner it comes with roast pots and rice, yum yum. I'm... More

I took 2 out of town clients here to taste some "authentic Greek food". The place was packed. Greek music added to the atmosphere. We felt like we were really in Greece. You get to go to the kitchen and pick your authentic Greek dish fully explained by the chef. Full menu items are also available. I had the baked... More

We really enjoyed the food however given the surroundings and service, it was overpriced. The main course arrived before we had finished our salads. The tables are small so there wasn't anywhere to put the plates. The waitress had rotten and broken teeth. We really felt sorry for her but she probably shouldn't be waiting tables until her teeth are... More

For Several years we have been trying Greek Restaurants in North America... and they haven't lived up to our hopes! I even said to my wife as we entered the Athens - 'if this one doesn't do it.... I will give up'. Thank you Athens Restaurant for restoring my hope! The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff genuine, the flavours excellent,... More

This is a small restaurant but the food is the reason for coming here. They have an open kitchen table where you can look at the cooked food prepared fresh each day by their chef or you can order from the menu. The quality of the food is excellent and you get good value for your money. We have made... More

Staying in East End

Neighborhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
