A nice diner. They're great at what they do. My husband had the BLT and loved it. I had a hot roast beef sandwich which was just okay, although the gravy was really good. I probably should have ordered something else, but got lost in the menu?

Come here occasionally. Food is always good. Service is always good even when busy. Reasonably priced. Always a great time!

I happened by this restaurant after a long walk through High Park on a busy Mother's Day Sunday. When I am on my own, I sometimes feel sheepish about taking up a spot in a restaurant on a busy Sunday. But that is not a problem here. They have a lunch counter which works perfectly for someone on their own.... More

This family-run restaurant is a gem. Warm welcome, fantastic coffee, crisp bacon, laid back (they let you bring your own fruit (to go with the substantial French toast)), huge portions, genuinely friendly, fast service, very reasonable prices, phenomenal Greek salad (with chicken), always spotless. Great place to catch up with friends or to dine alone, as the mood dictates.

Brothers keep doing perfect job in serving simply Greek food with reasonably prices. Like the atmosfere. Service can be better but ..., guess that's the part of the deal.

This place is great! Food is fresh & delicious, lots of variety to satisfy everyone's cravings. Service is great and cooks have been same guys for years. Prices and portion sizes are reasonable- must be because neighbourhood kids pack in here at lunch to buy hot, greasy fries, loaded with steaming gravy and ketchup! Yummy, greasy goodness. Enjoy

This little, family run restaurant is very popular with the locals in the Roncesvalles area of Toronto. Generous portions of all day breakfast or delicious souvlaki, homemade burgers, steaks, and much more are served. The prices are very reasonable.

Roncey (Roncesvalles Ave in the High Park) in Toronto downtown west can be a bit pricy - roncey can be poncey ! - but Aris Place is a gem - friendly and efficient waitresses, good food, including breakfast, at very reasonable prices, especially considering the area. Well recommended !

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
