Love this restaurant! Can't say enough good things. Was there during summerlicious 2016 and it did not disappoint. We all ordered everything from the summerlicious menu plus the famous slaw and were overall very happy with the food. One of the appetizers, cod was our least favorite but not enough to disappointment the overall experience. Portions were good size and... More

Our waiter highly recommended dishes that I would never have ordered otherwise, and frankly did not sound all that appealing to me, but they all turned out to be excellent. Even though I knew this place was famous for its modern cuisine, the food exceeded expectations by far.

We were a party of 6 celebrating on a Saturday night. Lee had a good buzz and a pretty cool vibe. I thought some of the dishes were good, some of it excellent: definitely the Singapore Slaw is a must have. I also enjoyed the sangria and the wine we had was good. As a negative I felt the waitress... More

I was very excited to go to Lee, especially since I had dined at Susur (same address) many years ago and had a lovely, long dinner with many courses. This time at Lee, I was with a large group of people who were excited to eat at the restaurant. Our host chose a set family-style dinner with 9 courses, a... More

We had a dinner event, private dining room, and a set menu of amazing foods. Even the salad was delicious. Particularly good food was: - Burger rolls - duck wraps with foie gras - chicken balls with curry - sangria - chicken pot pie Everything was perfect. The chef apparently was featured on master chef and one of his dishes... More

The restaurant is both classy and filling. It has delicious food and the staff is extremely professional. I loved the black cod, very tender and cooked to perfection. Lees is suitable for date nights because all portions are sharing. We loved that concept!

The restaurant served us today's best and preferred meal. A lot of exiting combinations of Asian cooking with a inspiration of street twist. Thumbs up.

Very good food, nice atmosphere (raw brick walls and raw wooden ceilings), younger crowd. We had the Singapore Slaw with Sashimi Tuna, Octopus, Chicken and Pot Pie - and I would rank it in that order. Good wine, poor beer selection, expensive cocktails.

We were here during restaurant week so the al a carte offerings minimal, Nonetheless, as nearly every other review has noted, you simply must have the Singapore slaw and the shrimp. Exquisitely prepared and presented.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
