I am in love. Everything about this place was amazing from the decor, to the staff to the food (Holy moly the food.) I came here with my husband for my birthday a week and a bit ago. When we arrived we were greeted by several waitresses and hostesses. We had a reservation and were promptly escorted directly to our... More

Eventhough we would have liked a more "chic" restaurant (a bit too industrial look at our taste) the food was just perfect. The signature salad alone is worth the visit. Crab cakes and satay brochettes were good too

2nd time at this restaurant and they were just as good as the first time. The slaw is always superb. Everything else we tried were good. Service excellent. Would recommend and return.

My brother took me to Lee last week and after hearing so much about this restaurant, I was really looking forward to the experience and it did not dissapoint. The service was friendly, accommodating and they definitely wanted to please. The food was delicious. We ordered a few of the signature dishes (6 in total ) it was quite amusing... More

This was our first time at Lee and we loved it! Great service, amazing food, fun atmosphere. The slaw was a must have for sure - I could eat that every day! This will be our first stop next time we are in Toronto.

I recently went to Lee restaurant, about a week ago, for a girlfriends birthday. We all ordered individual meals, much to the dismay of the server's "sharing plate" suggestions. Tried the slaw - it is totally what it's hyped up to be. They make it at your table and it is truly delicious. Having ordered it for two however, its... More

SPECTACULAR food and service. We're Nobu New York people and LEE is like a Toronto cousin. Tastes and textures are different and wonderful. Our server, David, was knowledgeable, helpful and careful not to be intrusive. This is an EXCEPTIONAL restaurant............and casual too............and we could hear each other talk even though it was very busy. We look forward to coming back... More

I was invited for dinner at Lee Restaurant, and it is quite a trendy and happening place. Service was excellent, and their bartender and drink menu is very good. The food as an experience was good, but we felt that the chef was trying too hard to fuse too many flavors on some dishes that it left the dish hovering... More

Dinner at Lee's was a sojourn through Asia. Starting with Singaporian slaw which is a must and Green curry lentils that were creamy and spiced to perfection; I could eat a bowl of those lentils and die happy. But we ordered Grilled octopus that was most tender and succulent and again spiced perfectly as was Assam Thai satay served with... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
