This is a good family restaurant where you can get a good selection of items, ranging from souvlaki to hamburgers to eggs benedict. Prices are reasonable. Food is good quality. I do mostly pickups now.

Steve's serves up some of the best breakfast/brunch in Toronto. Maybe a couple extra bucks in comparison to other breakfast spots, but well worth the price. You don't stick around for 70+ years without doing something right. Enjoy!

The service and food are always good here at Steve's. Great for bacon and eggs or for my son, the chicken fingers and fries.

We all ordered their Greek Chicken salads as we were babysitting nearby and wanted something quick and easy. Called ahead and got our order. It was delicious with their freshly made salad dressing (made with egg) the chicken was moist and perfectly cooked. The only thing missing was the anchovies, they choose not to serve anchovies.

After 6 ~ 8 visits for breakfast, all very satisfying, my wife and I went for lunch, on a recommendation of supposedly "fine hamburgers". So my wife ordered the hamburger and I had the "Hamburger Steak". Disappointment! The meat was dry, overcooked and without flavor. The accompanying mashed potatoes were 1st rate, but the French fries, obviously from frozen, were... More

I can't understand the poor reviews of Steve's. We have eaten here often for breakfast and find that it is consistently good. It is simple, homemade food well prepared. Service is usually good, although maybe not the friendliest. The kids (14, 13, 11) ask to go there on a regular basis. We love it!

Food is ok and the place is always busy on the weekends. However they do not staff their restaurant properly and the ancient waitresses who do work there take a long time and are obviously tired. Too bad because it's not their fault - I suggest that the owner step up and hire some more staff.

For a diner it's pretty good, especially if you are tired of the East Side Mario, Kelsy's, Montana, cr_p like we are. Go for their Eggs Benedict, it's really good or their Greek Salad, the dressing is excellent and you can buy some to take home. Our kids enjoy the hamburgers and fries.
