Its a good go-to bar if you are in the west end. After a TFC game or down at the Exhibition. The beer selection is good and they have a nice patio in the summer time.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the musician. Our food was good and cooked well. We had fish & chips, calamari, Japanese dumplings, and a vegetable pizza. Our server was very friendly and helpful. If you are in a rush, then do not go there.

Went for the first time last night. It's a great spot, with a nice and big outdoor patio. Good atmosphere and cheap drink. Unfortunately however, it took about 25 minutes to order a drink from the main bar. On a very busy Saturday night, there were only 3 bar tenders... 1 of whom should retire from bartending. I watched her... More

I've been a regular at the Rhino for 6 plus years now so I've seen it go through many highs and lows. If you like beer, this is a great place to visit. The prices range from $3.75 to $30, depending on the brand you're after. I recommend getting a pitcher of the Rhino lager (their house brew) It's delicious,... More

Sunday brunch February 7, 2016. Waitress was nice. Burger bun was stale. Eggs Benedict was cold. Going to the washroom, half way down the stairs, was an overwhelming smell of urine. The smell was a real turn off. Will not be going back.

It's like you are home. people sit in different corners, 2 levels, I love the atmosphere as well as the lights there. The food is great, the service is amazing and the waitress was SO kind and smiley.

The Rhino is a favorite place to have wings and beer after our weekly hockey game. Mados wings are some of the best in the city, and the beer menu is one of the largest you'll see in Toronto

Two star rating based on a decent meal I had there 10 years ago. Went the other night, sat there while the staff did nothing. Left after 10 mins when it was clear they would rather chat than bring us a menu. In a competitive restaurant environment there is no place for such terrible service.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
