This place was highly recommended by everyone on the forums etc, especially in the Kensington market area, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The burritos are massive, well filled and served with a smile. An added bonus is the quality of the art outside the shop...

I often stop here when I'm taking my visiting friends through Kensington. I've tried nearly everything on the menu now and it's all been fantastic.

First a thing about Toronto burritos...many places in Toronto (including Big Fat Burrito) grill their burritos as a last step in preparing them. It makes the inside of the burrito really hot and makes the tortilla just a tiny bit crisp. Delicious. Big Fat is always busy because it's gooooood and not expensive. A Kensington institution.

I had the veggie burrito, my boyfriend had the steak. SO GOOD - quick too, ordered and ate on our way to our next stop.

This place has amazing food. I stumbled upon this restaurant and am so glad that I did. The food is great and there are many options for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The portions are large and the prices very reasonable!

If you like a burrito, you will like the burritos here at this local chain. Here are a few things to note: 1. While they have all the standard meat toppings, they do a yam burrito as well for those who don't eat meat. As a bonus for meat eaters, they will mix yam with pork. This is perhaps the... More

The food tastes great and it's very fresh. The service is quick and the staff is very efficient. At first, I was a little apprehensive to go in because I am not really a burrito fan, but once I sunk my teeth into my pulled pork burrito I couldn't stop eating. The place doesn't look like too much because it's... More

Authentic and fresh! Very cool atmosphere, friendly service and the food was soooo good. Little expensive for foil-wrapped takeout, but worth it for the flavour and freshness.

This funky canteen style eatery was a great break from strolling through the market. The beef burritos were fresh and filing. Loved how they toasted the burrito. Prices are decent and the food is fresh and tasty, very filling.
