Went here after visiting CN Tower on a Blue Jays game night. Game had started so it wasn't crowded, maybe ten or twelve people dining. We were seated by hostess and given a one page menu with limited dinner choices. Discussed choices with waitress and placed order. We were served in good time, but as we finished I noticed another... Food was very tasty. Quick service. Waiter was polite but a smile wouldn't have gone a miss. Very reasonably priced.

My kids, 18 & 20, and I went to Toronto for a night away. We were not sure where to eat but ended up at Baton Rouge. The service was good and the food was amazing. I had the Chipotle Jack Chicken, gluten free, delicious!

Just an absolute shocking experience Friday evening at 3:30pm before the Jays game. My girlfriend and myself frequent the Whitby Baton Rouge twice a month and boy, could this Front Street location learn a lesson or two from them about Customer Service. We were seated in a quiet area by the bar and had one server bring us 2 beers... More

This restaurant had an array of soups and salads for a light lunch and is close to the Rogers Centre, CBC headquarters and the Aquarium. The sandwich plates include soup and a hot beverage which is good quality. Everything was tasty and expected from a chain of easy eateries.

Do not get me wrong, it was still good lunch. I just expected something more from a restaurant with such a prime location. Stake was good, but not great. Nothing special about sides and desert as well.

Went here over the Labour Day weekend with 5 other people and we didn't have a wait at all, which was great. Service was pretty good as was the food, and it is in a great location!

Popped in during the day for a bite to eat. Great spot next to Rogers Stadium, although WiFi did not work outside. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nothing too much trouble. Had a lovely fish soup, followed by a rather large rib sandwich. Delicious. Would definitely go again

We went here before a Blue Jays game so they were understandably busy, but the service was awful! We had two people waiting in our table and neither were around much. Didn't have silverware so had to wait 5 min after our food came to even start eating. Food was okay and probably would have rated higher had it not... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
