Went for lunch. We ordered Tandoori Chicken Kabob, Chicken Qurma and Firnee between three of us. The food, Afghani cuisine, was sumptuous and delicious.

Bad quality food and horrible serving size for the cost. I took a take out and I was disappointed to see the food. The restaurant is unhealthy unclean with extremely poor customer service. Staff is loud and impolite. Save your evening and go somewhere else.

It's a franchise and I've been to their several locations. I think it's the best fast-food in time sense, but the quality is as in a very nice restaurant. It's for meat lovers. Portions are generous and very reasonably priced.

have been a regular customer of bamiya kabob and I love their food, but today when I visited bamiya Kabob the manager who clearly had no business knowledge told me that the boss is always right and that I should leave the store, after I had told him that I had been given a smaller portion of rice and salad... The staff are very polite, the food is okay; the meat and rice were good, salad was fine but the bread (naan) was state and preheated. The washroom was a total disgust; no paper towels and the hand air dryer seemed out of order. They were also several insect straps under the sink and around the trash bin, not a... More

The kebob has a Ph.D and each grain of the rice is individual. Lovely food. Good ambiance too, and interesting crowd. Both young and old, singles, couples and families. We looked at some pudding others were eating, they immediately offered us to taste and would not take no for an answer. Excellent food, reasonable prices. Highly recommended

We ordered the barbequed Salmon with no rice option and a combination of the Kofte Kabab with the Sultani Kebobs. Everything was delicious and tasty and my friend loved the mango smoothee which she shared with me. Salad was fresh and evenly chopped. Would love to have another dinner to try the other items. Highly recommend it.

This place is an excellent example of why people should not eat at fast food franchises. Two people can eat here like royalty for under $25. The food is excellent and even though it is in the middle of nowhere, people drive here from all over to eat. It truly is a gem among affordable restaurants, come here and order... More

Staying in East York

Neighborhood Profile
East York
East York includes a portion of old, industrial Toronto. Densely populated but incredibly safe, it boasts some of the city's earliest gardens and gardening clubs, attracting green thumbs everywhere. The tranquility of the Don Valley River area, which is rich with Toronto's oldest and tallest forests, is supplemented by the large ensemble of authentic and refurbished Edwardian homes, giving parts of East York allure. The other draw is for foodies: lovers of Bangladeshi fare will find authentic restaurants and markets in the area, with raw spices and desserts. East York also represents a lot of Toronto's Serbian food culture, and recently, has had an outcropping of solid microbrewery stops. For families, the science center is a favored weekend stop.
