The park Hyatt has a very nice roof top bar which faces south towards downtown toronto. Unfortunately, you pay for the views. Drinks are not cheap. You also have to pay for parking at the hotel. There a number of items to snack on while soaking up the views and drinking your $20 drink. Good for a date.

The Roof Lounge at the Park Hyatt has a warm and cozy atmosphere with dim lighting at night and comfortable seating. The view outside is breathtaking! It was crowded on Saturday night and difficult to get a seat outdoors. Good drinks and service. No children allowed after 5pm. If you are staying at the hotel, this is a must see!

The view is good, if you get one of the good seats. Otherwise, take a pass and try to find something with better food as there is lots to choose from in the neighbourhood.

We always try to have a drink or snack at the Roof Lounge, in the Park Hyatt hotel. The service is terrific and the view of downtown Toronto and the CN Tower is amazing. 'Just a lovely spot to relax and enjoy on a summer evening.

We headed up here after dark, about 10 PM on a July evening. The outdoor seating was full, so they seated us inside and put us on a list to move outside when our number was up. Meanwhile we ordered a drink from the extremely pricey menu. Thankfully, the high prices came with a nice tray of munchies which included... More

Thanks for your comments. The Roof Lounge is limited in its seating capacity and the patio is prime seating in the summer. We are glad you were able to enjoy it and hope you come back again soon. More

If you can get a table outside the views are great, especially the sunset across the city. Wine seelction and service is first class, although it is a little pricey.

My wife and I visited the Park Hyatt House in Toronto for a three day trip and found it to be very charming, also the town a. We loved the spacious one room suite room the facility and the proximity to the downtown area and shop's. We especially enjoyed the rooftop lounge and the view of the Toronto skyline at... More

I love my Manhattans, and their signature Blood Orange Manhattan is absolutely stellar. The inside section of this bar is suitably dark and intimate. Outside patio boasts a panoramic view of downtown Toronto to the south. Great selection of appetizers to share. It's not a large space so it always feels busy when you first enter, but I've never failed... More

There are many other great roof top drinking hubs .... historically, this is a top in the City but if you're expecting great views, you cant really see much because of the concrete barrier (versus glass) in the terrace, which incidentally is narrow. This joint is better for a place to have drinks on a winter night, sitting inside either... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
