Paid a visit to Sushi Bon for Years Day for dinner . On my visit from the USA. the servers were rude and racist. Sat for 20 minutes waiting for sugar for my tea had to ask more than twice no water, waitresses served everyone in the restaurant first before me. Served me cold tempura, I was there for over... Just simply do not even eat here. I was with my husband and my daughter. We are vegetarians, and my daughter is celiac. We were very clear with the server that my daughter was celiac. She acted as if she understood this completely, and said - "yes, no soy sauce, no imitation crab, no tempura, etc, etc" so we were... More

I go here a lot, as it is close to home. It`s one of my favourite all you can eat sushi places! The fish is always fresh, there is a good variety, plus they just recently added a few more items to the... Plus the price is fair (for AYCE sushi). OH and the staff are super nice! I will... More

Okay so I've probably been to at least 20 different Japanese restaurants in Toronto so far. The service here is generally bad. I've been here at least 6 times now (don't ask) and the service is never great. We went in for lunch (it was a nice cool, breezy day outside) and it was stuffy and humid inside - no... More

The service was slow and the waitress wasn't very friendly. We sat outside, which we really loved. The food was honestly very good. We enjoyed more the appetizers than the rolls and sushi. The grilled eggplants were fantastic. And they had lots of interesting dishes with squid, mushrooms, honey garlic fried shrimps. After our lunch we took ice creams from... More

The service may be slow, but the window box seat and courteous staff, along with generous portions of delicious sushi, make this a stand out restaurant in a row of pasta, tomato, and veal joints. I absolutely love this place!

Quality isn't the greatest but for the price it's ok.

Of the 4 or 5 sushi places on that block, it is the least impressive.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
