No doubt this place delivers on the gourmet and the chef's surprise with wine pairing is fabulous. But be prepared to dish out over $200 for a lunch for 2 . Worth it for a special occasion.

Great tasting experience - definitely a must visit restaurant for those who love fine French food!! Somelier is fantastic at pairing wines for the different courses - I recommend going with a few friends so you can taste a couple of scrumptious wines with your courses. Chefs menu is the way to go (5 course was my pick but a... More

A special place to go, where you are very well-treated, great atmosphere, and excellent food. So I really recommend it as a nice place to go.

Once you are in the restaurant, the atmosphere transports you to a polished, urban setting. The food is deliciousand they have great private room service for groups.

By far the fanciest and best restaurant I've ever been to. Visited to celebrate my engagement and still rave about it whenever anyone asks for a recommendation. Had a 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings and everything was marvellous, my wife and I each had totally different dishes so we could share. The sommelier was great, the food fresh,... More

The food was pretty good -- carta de musica (the cracker like bread was great)- portions are medium but well explained. Ricotta gnocchi was amazing but the beef (third course) was totally oversold and not great. Also there were kids at the restaurant on a sat night?!?? That was a bit annoying BC we thought it was solely adults and... More

This is a gastronomical experience! At least once in your life. Great service and the food was outstanding. It's worth every dollar. I had never experienced such a dinner. We had the seven couse tasting menu. Enjoy!

I had my wedding last year at The Ivy at Verity. It was catered by George Restaurant. We went with sweet and savory platters. My Guests were thrilled with the food. My cake was a total masterpiece. When we find time we will go for a full meal. A must.

Thank Linda L

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
