I live downtown and I have been going here for years. It is not pretentious or fancy in any way. It is a simple and clean restaurant in the suburbs - similar to a family style place. I bet 90% customers are regulars. The food is fresh and really tasty and made with love. The chefs are really friendly and... More

I didn't know that Armenian food was similar to Lebanese food. Shawarma, pickled turnip, hummus, and a dozen more tasty food options here. I enjoyed the vegetarian platter with chicken and a yoghurt drink. I barely finished my dinner and loved the chewy pita served with.

We have been regular patrons of the Armenian Kitchen for years. In fact, it is our "go to" neighbourhood restaurant. Don't expect a "cookie cutter" suburban restaurant. The Armenian Kitchen is one of a kind. The food is wonderful...from the delicious shawarmas and falafels to the fatouche salad you can't go wrong. Service is friendly and personal. The staff goes... The Armenian Kitchen has been in business for over 30 years. It also comes up very often when I search for places to eat that aren't far from where I live. When I first arrived, I was a little wary about the strip mall that the AK is situated in, but upon entering, my suspicions subsided. The atmosphere in the... More

I have been going here for 30+ years, and have seen a few different owners over the years... Recently, I went there, and it was dirty... tables sticky with old plastic covers... took forever to get served, flies buzzing around etc.. and I had pretty much written it off (the plaza it is in has gone from OK to very... We went with a group of 12 and found there was a big difference between the meals. I had the shawarma dinner plate and the fries were cold and the meat was dry. The people in our group who had a sandwich were happier. On a positive note, the dips were great and the falafels were really good as well.... More

Visiting on vacation in Toronto, we wanted to try something a little different in cuisine... We came across this little hole in the wall restaurant and we were completely blown away! It's sad that this place is so easily looked over in its tiny strip mall just a few doors down from a porn shop. The family is so warm... More

Armenian Kitchen is in one of those strip malls that you just drive by. However once you get in and try the food, you are in heaven. Lamb Shishkabob and wings. Excellent combination. I also take the mango juice. I order, it is done 100% oh how I like it.
