The Beaconsfield is my absolute favorite bar/lounge in T.O. Great seletion of wine...great patio.. ok menu...good food ...ok cleanliness..shoe-box kitchen...nice chefs....average price - HOWEVER the serving staff...needs to go on a long vacation-retreat and attend a HOW TO SMILE WORKSHOP... .....they all look gloomy and miserable....except for one cheery waitress.DANA (who btw...only works there 2 nights a week -and not... We had our dinner here at the bar - limited menu but great food - portions are big. The service was just okay - had to ask for drink refills several times - we were older than the regular crowd - maybe not hip enough to get attention from the staff??

My husband and I were seeking a bite to eat before a concert at the Great Hall. There is a lot of gentrification in this area of town and with eyes rolling at the beautiful hipsters out and about we popped in here for a beer and some snacks. They were busy and clearly were expecting to be busier as... More

Great service, a good selection of drinks - even thought it's a bit Molson group heavy - lovely food and a top track of tunes makes this place a cool spot with a good vibe.

It is a very small cozy restaurant with a great night life environment. There isn't much on the menu and I find the food there a bit pricey. I was feeling some Indian food so I ordered chicken masala (the meal was delicious considering it wasn't an Indian restaurant). Would go again for the bar but not for dining.

I have no idea what happened to this once-wonderful restaurant! Our recent visit was a nasty experience. Staff were rude and food was terrible, over-spiced slop. Servers were poorly dressed with food splatters on their shoes. Place was filthy. What a shame!

Corner pub feel. I was in casual dining mood. Noticed that the whole menu had veggies on every plate. I was like.. Pub and veggies.. Ok. Ordered steak, mash, amazing the veggies even better. The cook did there best to make a cheap steak taste really good. Kinda feel like someone with that much skill at flavour wouldn't order a... More

One glimpse of the Kitchen and I was out of there. Nice bar, so for drinks most likely OK, but I was there to eat (I didn't).

I came here with friends on a Friday night for drinks only. The bar has a great atmosphere, trendy people and wide drinks selection. The décor is beautiful and very fitting with the Queen West vibe. I would definitely come here again
