This restaurant has a special place in our hearts. It is always our pick for a special dinner. The service is exceptional every time. They have a file for clients and make notes about the particular details so that they can serve you better each and every time. We like their artichoke spread and the server will have it for... We went to Auberge for my b'day last Sat night to celebrate as a couple and the first impression was not a good one as we had to wait for 10 min to be seated, although we had a reservation and showed up on time. Since I wanted to have dessert, we skipped the appetizer round and went straight to... More

I went to Auberge Du Pommier to celebrate my wife's birthday. Location was convenient, close to Yonge and 401. We went on a Friday night for a 6:30 PM reservation which I made online earlier. We received a phone call earlier during the day to confirm our reservation. We arrived earlier around 6 PM, and were easily accommodated. There was... More

The restaurant provides good setting for a romantic dinner. The wine list is very extensive and expensive! The food was average. Our meals (halibut and lamb dishes) were over cooked. Overall, it's a nice place for a quiet dinner in North York.

Auberge would be my 'go to' fine dining restaurant if it wasn't so expensive! Perfect dishes - delicious chilled soup and wonderful wine list - always impeccable service.

Very pleasant venue, with staff that are extremely friendly and attentive. The noise level was low enough to permit dignified conversation without straining or loudness. The wait staff are impeccable and very knowledgeable. Our party of 4 enjoyed halibut, lamb, beef, and sole: each dish was prepared perfectly. Only one quibble...Bloody Caesars are not their forte. This is a very... More

Being French cuisine, the wine collection is incredibly massive and more new one coming in, halibut was good, steak tartar is the best in town, prepare for tiny seats , request seating arrangement in advance because the place is 'cosy' being converted by two cottages into one restaurant, always good as ever.

We went (my second visit) and I must say the service was exceptional. While the restaurant is on the expensive end, it was worth a visit with another couple. The food presentation was exquisite and very satisfying. The appetizers are very good, I had the foie gras and my wife had the lobster and leek terrine. Our entrees went from... More

Some of the dishes were good, some unexceptional. Services was fantastic. Ambiance not quite there....Overall experience was very overpriced for what you get. My husband and I had dinner for two with half a litre of wine ($80/bottle), we both had two appetizers ($28/$26) and main courses (high $30s and $40s) and we shared a dessert. The bill with a...
