We went 2 x over the past month.... Summerlicious for dinner and recently for dinner. Both times we had a late res - 8 pm - but still had to wait at least 20 minutes for a table. Then, waiting staff were spotty - the second time. The first time, I had to send my meal back as it had... More

We had high expectations, and although we had a nice meal, it could have been better. We felt the biggest let down was the quality of the service; our server although generally polite had an air of arrogance that was unwarranted. Its hard to put it into words really, but we are easy going and the dialogue was unnecessarily awkward... More

Came here last Saturday... Had a great time. The ambiance was nice and quiet. But I wouldn't call it intimate. The service was fantastic though. Friendly and attentive and sophisticated. We really enjoyed our time there.

Great food and quaint atmosphere! I love when a restaurant can take ordinary ingredients (especially legumes) and take them to another level of preperation and flavor. Would return!

Here was very famous restaurant. Elegant mood, great food, and so nice guest. However, I felt there was not enough as its reputation. Why? Little bit unkindness staff? Their insincere attitude? Obviously, here is one of the best restaurant in Toronto, however, it must be needed to do something more.

The environment is quite nice but seriously, the food is mediocre. Summerlicious is definitely overrated here.

We enjoyed our selections: Summer Fruit Gazpacho (delicious but had large strips of melon that were hard to eat). The Culotte de Boeuf was delicious and perfectly prepared. The Chocolat Cremeux was delicate with mint white chocolate ice cream and tiny meringue kisses but the Pineapple Panna Cotta was boring. Service was excellent.

When to Auberge Du Pommier for 10th anniversary. Happened to be week of Summerlious food promotion in Toronto (participating restaurants). So, we order from the 3 course fix price menu, plus additional appetizer from the usual menu. Location, is very nice, inside and on the terrace, where we dined. Building is cottage-like and is nested in green space among parking... More

Maybe it's because we visited during Summerlicious but the food was meh for the money. Grilled octopus was kind of mushy, terrine was bland. Steak and horseradish was okay. Maybe we'll come again and order from the regular menu later. Good service and nice area though.

Had lunch at Auberge and the food was excellent and service was good...I'd definitely go back, Note that the place is not accessible (lots of stairs), so plan accordingly if someone in your party has young ones with a stroller or otherwise have mobility issues.
