The food used to be good and location was convenient and the owner is great man. But my last three visits were all poor, two I told the owner and the last one the manager. Slow service and the food not good at all. My feeling is expansion along with a new attitude is the reason. They are terribly expensive... More

Had a great dinner event with a larger party. They gave us a beautiful curtained-off section to ourselves and served us a delicious meal. Great service and high quality food.

The only thing you will get is a over cook salmon very dry, beets salad had a very off taste to it was definitely not fresh, my ribs was almost raw . They should put the money into the Chef as suppose to the Decor , too bad we live in the neighbourhood and it's sad to see good restaurant... More

The food was absolutely incredible- we both had the steak with a complimentary add on(such a nice bonus) The chef came out at the end to deliver a complimentary dessert and greeted us which I thought was kind of him and professional. The appy's were only so/so. 6 pieces of shrimp for $15 is insane to me. The carpaccio meat... More

This was a casual lunchtime meal with a friend, which was a no-brainer once I discovered they had a Summerlicious menu. They sat us in a booth, which was nice. We actually decided to choose an appetiser and main from the usual lunch menu instead of the special one, except I wanted the cornmeal crusted calamari, which they obliged me... More

We went into this restaurant and it seemed quite a bit empty... the setting was nice the location great, but was not too sure how the business was going 'cos obviously we were one of the few guests there... We ordered wine and of course the steak, it turns out ok but nothing special or to match the 'steakhouse' expectation

I believe you must book before hand as it was very busy. We found the service to be good and they were very helpful. We tried the summerlicious menu and it was adequate for our needs. Parking could be an issue and we arrived early because of this but found a spot right away when someone left as we arrived.... More

This restaurant has never let us down. The steak and seafood are fabulous, perfectly cooked and beautifully served. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recently, ate there during Summerlicious - and the special menu was fabulous, and delicious. Highly recommended.

Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
