Happy to rediscover ViBo, formerly known as Villa Borghese

My wife and I joined our friends, another married couple, at ViBo. The last time we had dined there was more than 10 years ago when it was known as Villa Borghese. This time, our friends suggested it as a dining experience during Toronto's Winterlicious. How nice it was to rediscover this place... read more

A superb culinary experience. I highly recommend the Roast duck & Pear Salad with brie cheese & cranberries, Herbed Pork Tenderloin with maple pecan crunch & roasted local vegetables, Warm Sticky Toffee Caramel Date Cake with Lime Sour Cream. Excellent table service and cordial greeting staff. Vibo is a must visit.

This has become my new favourite place for lunch. The waiters are attentive and do not rush you. You can relax with house wine and cappuccino. The liver is delicious as is the white fish.there is a wide variety. Salads are nicely plated. Parking is meter along the street or in the lots behind the north side stores. The restaurant... More

My friends and I decided to try this restaurant for Winterlicious. While the location is convenient (on the subway line), the restaurant large, easy to navigate and be in, and the service really was good, I found the food ho-hum. Nothing was hot, only lukewarm; the duck and pear salad: the pear was cut in thick slides, and the pear... More

Everything about my family's experience at ViBo was fantastic. The service was friendly, helpful, and accommodating and the food was absolutely delicious: fresh, flavourful, and elegantly presented.

We were celebrating my wife's 40th birthday up in the private room. We had a full house and my biggest concern was going to be the spacing of chairs and timing of the food. Their staff set the room perfectly with lots of room to move around. This is even after we added decor and a TV for a slide... More

Went to Vibo for New Years eve during their early evening sitting. It was a fixed menu where you selected your appetizer, main entre and dessert. I selected the beet salad which was one of the best I have ever had while husband had the lobster ravioli which was amazing. A roasted squash soup was also part of the fixed... More

A group of us came to ViBo for dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was warm, inviting and traditional. I ordered the Linguine "alla Marinara" and my husband the Agnolloti. As a result I was able to sample a tomato and cream sauce dish. Both were delicious and my order had a generous helping of seafood. For dessert I... More

My friend and I visited on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was very quiet, just a few full tables. Service was very slow, but the food was worth the wait. Both the presentation and taste were excellent. We both had the Caesar salad and penne a la vodka. I highly recommend both. Since we are high school friends with a... More

Good food , good service. Some dishes are actually rather small ( lunch) so if you have a big appetite you would want an app. We filled up on bread after the eggplant parmigiana- it was great but a small portion.
