I visited this restaurant a within the last couple of weeks on a business dinner. Food, service and ambiance were outstanding! Last evening, in a pinch, I had a last minute business dinner so I thought I'd see if they could squeeze us in. No problem at all (though the restaurant was quite busy). They recalled me from the previous... More

This old fashioned restaurant is just east of the Yorkville district and is simply lovely. The ambiance makes you feel like you've entered someone's beloved home, dark wooden bar, beautifully set tables. My dinner companion had been to Fieramosa several times, and was greeted like a member of the family. She had seafood risotto and my main was the roasted... More

Had a seafood pasta (special of the day) for $45 and although it contained loads of seafood, the tomato sauce was all one could taste. The seafood was tasteless and I had to add heaps of seasoning and Parmesan to get some flavour into the dish. Most disappointing for the price I paid. The carrot cake tasted like a shop... More

I hosted 22 friends and family for a birthday party in the private dining room upstairs. The space was warm and intimate needing no further decoration. We were provided with ample serving staff overseen by the incredibly charming Edwin. An amazing menu was offered to guests with a variety of choices to satisfy every taste. Many extras appeared including apps... More

This is my second review of this restaurant as my experience of my second visit was really bad! First of all, I had quail & sausage & it was inedible! I had to send it back & ordered something else. So I had seabass instead (& it was a special on that day) & it was again a total disappointment... More

My friend and I had a lovely lunch. The food and service were both excellent. Loved the mushrooms with Brie and the seafood apps. The risotto was only so so. Topped it all off with a glass of Proseco.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant last week. We absolutely loved it. We ate outside in a very quaint, quiet and beautiful patio. The service by our waiter Ravi was exceptional. He was personable, professional, and extremely friendly. My husband had sea food pasta. He was very pleased and surprised with the very generous and tasty portions... More

Located in residential neighborhood of the Annex in downtown. Parking easy as large public lot around the corner on Bedford. Restaurant is a converted residence on Prince Arthur Ave. Made a reservation for 7PM on a Sunday--arrived slightly early and were immediately seated inside (they have a large, nicely landscaped outdoor deck for dining under the stars as well). Service... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
