Everything about this experience was great. Atmosphere is charming, service excellent, and the food was wonderful. Melt in your mouth gnocchi, killer veggie pizza, and Tagliatelle fungi with white wine sauce. Highly recommend.

Warm comfortable interior broken up into several rooms. Friendly reception and service. Seating is cosy but acceptable. The good sized menu is enhanced by a choice of daily specials and an accommodating attitude to providing whatever you may want if possible. Lots of wines on offer as well, some not on the list. Portions were very generous. Highly recommended.

Went to the restaurant twice this week. Each experience better than the last. Grab the table by the fireplace and feel the warmth both in temperature and in ambiance. Great selections of wines to titillate even the most experienced wine connoisseur. The food is served with considerable attention paid to flavour and presentation. Service is friendly and attentive. Looking forward... More

I visited this restaurant a within the last couple of weeks on a business dinner. Food, service and ambiance were outstanding! Last evening, in a pinch, I had a last minute business dinner so I thought I'd see if they could squeeze us in. No problem at all (though the restaurant was quite busy). They recalled me from the previous... More

This old fashioned restaurant is just east of the Yorkville district and is simply lovely. The ambiance makes you feel like you've entered someone's beloved home, dark wooden bar, beautifully set tables. My dinner companion had been to Fieramosa several times, and was greeted like a member of the family. She had seafood risotto and my main was the roasted... More

Had a seafood pasta (special of the day) for $45 and although it contained loads of seafood, the tomato sauce was all one could taste. The seafood was tasteless and I had to add heaps of seasoning and Parmesan to get some flavour into the dish. Most disappointing for the price I paid. The carrot cake tasted like a shop... More

I hosted 22 friends and family for a birthday party in the private dining room upstairs. The space was warm and intimate needing no further decoration. We were provided with ample serving staff overseen by the incredibly charming Edwin. An amazing menu was offered to guests with a variety of choices to satisfy every taste. Many extras appeared including apps... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
